what is written or espoused by each political party is the ideal, talking points, rhetoric, values and beliefs, what is actually is done, most of the time, is to maintain their status quo. The media, whether liberal or conservative, feeds on what politicians say and do and communicates to the public as if this is news or the truth.  Then people get upset because they are so entrenched with their beliefs and rights that if the opposing side offers a different view they feel like it's an attack on them.

Im no fan of big government but we do need some government to keep society civil.Look at third world countries that have very little government.Would you want to live in one of those places ?

I did live in one of those places, those governments seem little but they're not, they thrive on control of their people, most effective weapon for doing so is....yes you guessed it...gun control....meaning only those who follow will have access to them, censorship is their next weapon they use.....that's what the sheep following the left in this country don't see, you eliminate our first and second amendments.....we lose our country, it's that simple.

Yep, sure did. P.I. USA, may need improvement, but why are still flocking here from other countries? Opportunities for a better life. Travelled a lot as well and guess what there are certain things that are better, like Germany, but do you want to get taxed like close to 50%. Dont get me wrong, our country still need to improve but you cant beat the diversity. I could go w/in a five mile radius and eat like 6 types of ethnic foods.

Voting districts are rigged to favor major metro occupants sooooo.. The voice of the people is largely imbalanced by the people in these metro regions dictating what rural cities, towns, and communities get for state government along with federal representation.

 

Everyone knows that people leaning to the left or far left in large amounts inhabit large cities and peripheral areas of the city. These areas are then split up into tiny little voting districts to create large doctored voting power compared to the much larger and less in electoral vote number rural districts. Every election cycle the left in this state redistricts because of city growth creating more electoral power unbalanced to one side. 

 

I believe the area imbalance is 2% of the state controls the 98% of the state's representation. These same people 2% who don't live among the wilderness like most rural conservatives dictate environmental and economics for these regions...I imagine this is the case for California and Washington.

 

So no matter who we try to vote out or in if they are not lefties. Then you pretty much have no chance of representation for your political stance. Socialist republic of Oregon.

Obviously this country is the best place on earth, everyone living in third world countries wish they were here in the USA, no matter how much damage our politicians have done, it is still the promise land.

my opinion is that the politicians are not interested in taking in the Pro 'American way' types willing to assimilate. The focus is just on massive numbers to reestablish waning political voting powers.

 

Heck even Oblamer said there needed to be more section 8 homes in rural communities.....Because rural areas are largely white middle class in population. Exactly the largest concentration of conservatism. By social engineering this action you can increase your chance of turning a red district blue. So small town america has seen the largest increase in migrant dumps by federal agencies. Then a promise from the FED to pay millions to the towns and churches for helping migrants settle in these regions. 

 

Its not that there isnt great people coming here, but this is a large scale "You owe us your vote in the future." for helping you come in and being allowed to stay.

The cream rises to the top. The best will try the hardest to get here because they are hungry for it, motivated, wanting a slice of success. Watch out! They want it more than you do and will take it so don't get pissed off when you see one driving around in a beemer... or w/e passes for affluence..

 

Keep in mind that you need immigrants. Your birth rate is 1.84 and dropping. You need 2.1 to stay even to replace those that die of old age. This means in the not so far future you won't have enough workers to pay taxes to support the elderly (living longer, having fewer children) and the military in order to dominate the world as you do now.

Our government is corrupt but other countries, specially third world are worse. It is, however, getting harder to get ahead but i suppose that is across the board in other countries. What gives one a better perspective is travellinh and i am not talking about going on a tour bus. I m talking about really getting to know the people by hanging out where the locals hang out and this will give one a better idea about about the pros and cons of that country
