Humans can live with just about anything wrong in their lives. It's incredible what you can handle before changing it or ending it. Rollins is right when he says that once you have kids you forfeit the right to end yourself but this is assuming you are in your right mind at the time. Suicide does not make sense to the majority of people left behind and only slightly to those that understand the circumstances. You always fear what you don't know, fear can easily become anger and anger can lead to lashing out. 1 Link to comment

It's always a nagging thought at the back of their mind that this world would be better off without them here or when they do something the consequences of their actions are worse than taking themselves out of this plane of existence. Sometimes it gets to be too much and you can't take it anymore and you let yourself give in to the desires of the brain. Sometimes there's a support network for the individuals with these sorts of inclinations and there is actually a suicide prevention hotline but sometimes even that isn't enough. Just the hotline wouldn't be enough either way. People with these sorts of thoughts should not have children due to the fact that once you do your life is no longer yours but theirs now but sadly it does happen, by accident or on purpose it happens. There's so many things that can go wrong in any given day and sometimes all it takes is for the corner shop you go to closing early and you not being able to get that bottle of yoohoo that you've been wanting all day and you can't handle it. That's all it takes with some brains, just the slightest variance from the routine and all hell breaks loose and it's all your fault. Imagined or otherwise the human mind is a powerful thing that we honestly have no control over. Humans think they do but they don't. Link to comment
