I bought my '72 from an older guy back in 1991 for $700, that supposedly had a cracked block. He was the original owner, and the car had 59,000 original miles. The car was white, with a wine red interior, and had an automatic. There was condensation under the oil fill cap but no oil water mix in the radiator, or on the dipstick. I pulled a compression check, and saw 175 straight across. It did NOT have a cracked block, or head. The car ran great, and was pretty quick for an automatic. Wish that I still had it, but was sold for personal reasons. I still have the original wheel chocks from it. B) Quote Link to comment
