Just Joel
If I had an extra hub lying around I would but unfortunately they are bolted to the car :p interesting though. Not sure if I'll ever need the option but I'm looking forward to what you come up with :) Quote Link to comment

CGS1948
Ok guys which 5 lug hub is the best fit for the 280zx spindle? What bolt pattern are you going to use on the front hubs, the same as the stock 8.8" Mustang? The 86-93 used a 4 on 4.25" bolt circle (except for the SVO had 5 lug) The 94-95 used the 5 on 4 1/2" (114.3 mm) bolt circle, which is very common. Quote Link to comment
jb1200
Yea I'm using the 5x4.5 bolt pattern Quote Link to comment
Rhapakatui
Much better pic/word ratio. Looks like a fun build. 1 Quote Link to comment

rusty12ver
If you haven't figured the 5 lug assembly figured, call the 510 parts outlet,Troy has it figured out I believe. Quote Link to comment

I got the 5 lug assembly figured out. I went to the local PTP and spotted a Z31 turbo with 5 lug hubs just waiting to be pulled. Pics coming soon. 3 Quote Link to comment

DaBlist
Where can I find this hub? search "4x114.3 to 5x114.3" on ebay, there are cheap ones and expensive ones Quote Link to comment

Pics coming soon. Sorry I was late to answer this. Any '85-89 300ZX 5-lug hub will bolt straight up to a 280ZX strut/spindle. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Oh, and not sure why but the dust seal behind the rear bearings seems to be a tad tight on the spindle, so make sure you lube it good when you put it on or you might rip the seal. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
And resist the urge to just use the 280ZX bearing seal. It is too small to fit in the 300ZX hub. ;) Quote Link to comment
jb1200
Ok went to the Pick Your Part down in Sun Valley this morning and snatched a pair of LCA's off a 1981 200sx. Compared to the 1200 LCA they are the same size. 200sx on the left, 1200 on the right. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
That's pretty badass. Makes total sense, though. A large portion of the suspension components on the 80-83 200SX are the same as the 79-83 210. ;) Quote Link to comment
jb1200
Question...Where can I get a set of poly bushings for the front the 1200? Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
Down under, http://www.maddat.com.au/1200.php They may be willing to air mail parts?? Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Do I have to press the old seal out...because I'm having a hard time removing it? Rip that fucker out. You're throwing it in the trash, right? Seriously, I just put a screwdriver up to the edge, hit it with a hammer, then use the screwdriver to pry it out. Quote Link to comment
