This is looking good now, really coming together, and being a unitized welded structure will make it rattle free.

By the way John, what is the wall thickness of your main chassis rails?

I really hope there is no rattle once it's finished. The main rails are 1/8" thick, I believe.

Here is the quick mockup of the pedals.

I really like this setup John, putting your master cylinders in the floor mounted solidly, and away from the heat. It leaves you more room around the engine as well.

Just having a laugh... ^_^

I do prefer the brake pedal be on the right of the column, not the left. But I understand "because racecar" too... B)

Brake pedal will be lined up with the column...oh and it's a street car.

No it's not.

I understand what you mean, but it's not really a street car in my personal opinion. It's a race car you can drive on the street.

But that's a good thing.  B)

Agreed, not your everyday driver, but a "PRO STREET" car with those tubs in the rear. B)

Finished welding up the bottom of the 1200 today and I also spray it with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator. Also started to seal it up.

Looks great, I'm liking those tucked in tubs. It looks like a rattle free ride with the heavily reinforced unibody.   B)
