Rays74
Ok checkin in from Chino......have had this little dear since '98 but has been on Non Op since orig L-16 lost a cyl in Spring '03........poor thing has gotten pushed back on the "to do" list way too many times. It is a 2 owner car, dead stock and will be on DDD (daily driver duty :)) in the very near future. No big mod plans here, just a nice stocker to enjoy :D Quote Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Is that a bowling ball bag in the driver foot well? Looks like a really good candidate for some DD action, nice and straight too! Quote Link to comment

73dime
Here's my 'Goon...affectionately known as "Blanca". I posted pics when I first got her a couple years ago but they got deleted. She's pretty bone stock...inside/out but I have plans to install a 5 speed tranny & beefed up L16 that's sitting in the garage for now. So hard to be patient but I'm amassing parts/accessories like coffin handles, roof rack, Libres & new rubber parts in anticipation of the day I can send it over to the paintshop & have everything installed at once. Anyone got a stainless steel roof rack they'd like to part with? I've got one that's o-k-a-y...but it's got the fake wood grain on it & it's not my ideal. I LOVE THIS CAR! When you repaint your goon are you going to keep the vinyl top? I think it looks awsome with the vinyl top. Quote Link to comment
aztec510
New to the forum.. I have a goon but I went a different route. . No pistons.. 13b Bridgeport... loving it.. Quote Link to comment

It would be a shame to re-paint it. 1 Quote Link to comment

DAT510
Why is the rear of the hood up? Defroster? Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Why is the rear of the hood up? Defroster? He has fixed it now. That is a silly fad that raises under hood temps. 1 Quote Link to comment
jrock4224
but wasnt the original intention of that mod to lower temps ....lol Quote Link to comment
Tristin
but wasnt the original intention of that mod to lower temps ....lol That was the point, but it doesn't really work. Mainly air just comes in the front and out the back. It's doesn't displace and of the hot air under the hood at all so it actually makes under hood temps higher. Quote Link to comment
