so i am trying to post img images from photobucket and it says ratsun no longer uses those codes ....did i miss simething...o

try clicking over to more reply options and going to the full editor and see if that changes anything for you.

Obviously I could post this picture, but when I just used the quick reply option, it blocked me.  Clicking on advanced options, the photo showed up in the preview window, but still had the message.   I could post the picture then.

Try another picture.

That got blocked too.  now to try "submit modified post"

i had the same problem posting images from some japanese buy/sell sites... bet if you check the code you copied it didn't have the .jpeg on the end...  i hadto go open some images in another window and grab a clean imageurl from the pic   comes up with ning image search and google image search urls too.

It depends on what Mode the post editor is in:

Look at the first icon button in the editor

Both quick reply an full editor has this

 

* BBCode Mode everything off

Use the IMG codes

 

* BBCode Mode everything on

Use the "Direct Link" (ends with .jpg)

We got some bugs guys, but there are no bugs in Canada, hmmmmmm.

 

I have never had this issue posting photos before, that first box says "BBcode mode" when I put the curser over it, and I use the IMG like I have since joining Ratsun, but now I have issues, but I figured out how to use the "more reply options" to post the photos, so I am not going crazy.

 

As I expected, the photo above, which I have used several times is being rejected, this is what I am getting below.

This is not a bug with Photobucket, but a feature of the New Ratsun.

* If the Image button is clickable, then you must use the Image button. It requires a url that ends with .jpg (or other image extension) like the Photobucket "Direct link".

* If the Image button is greyed-out, then you may use the Photobucket "IMG code".

Works for me using the IMG codes:

 

Click the first button to toggle the other buttons (like the Image button) on or off.

The fact is that Ratsuners are talking about this issue on several threads now, I will try the direct link this time.

This one above didn't work either, so all that is left is the IMG option, or to change something in the Ratsun domain, if that is the correct word, how do I change my settings?

I was able to post this image by using the full editor, it would now work any other way.

I noticed that too the other day.  I just hit the button again after it told me I couldn't, then it fixed itself.

There are two ways to do it, and one way apparently broke today.

 

Depends on which edit/post box you are in -- and whether at any time in the past you toggled the mode button.
