ProjectFeint
Every old Datsun needs hood pins. B) I would disagree if it's a show car all original blah blah but to me it's worth the little eyesore I had the hood latch on my wrx fail on the freeway and it crumpled the roof, if that happened to my 610 I would give up... Just a little insurance ;) Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
Adjusted the height and cut the bump stops a little more and done Now i need to put on the vw lip and mock up the oil cooler and line and the front end will be done 2 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
In times like these, I really REALLY miss the "dislike" button.. As he said above, if you ever had a hood fly up on you, you might be more inclined to agree with me... Side note, there are very inconspicuous hood pins if you just hate the look. I would disagree if it's a show car all original I'm sorry, what are these "all original show cars" of which you speak? 1 Quote Link to comment

dakotahchore
I think some people have a problem respecting the owner's wishes for their car... do what you like man. Quote Link to comment
Spoona_Jay21
love it! lookin Awesome! wish i could go to Canby too see it in person.... :crying: Quote Link to comment
Bradinnes
I would think it better to have the hood pins then to have the hood fly up at 65 mph. Which would be worse? Plus, they look awesome and yet didn't break the bank..... I call that win, win. Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
So after seeing this DIY http://community.ratsun.net/topic/55621-make-yer-very-own-aux-input/ decided to retrofit the stock radio with an aux jack and a new antenna since the PO cut the ground/antenna as well as the power wire right at the box, hence why I removed it and have been music-less for so long :hairy: Also it's the FM dealer option which im just going to assume is rare and super cool Here are some oics Needs a nice clean up Here it is apart and ghetto rigged but it works!! One speaker ftw :fu: Cleaning the radio bezel tonight and going to radio shack tomorrow to wrap this up 1 Quote Link to comment

Bradinnes
I like the style of those rims. They really set the car off. Maybe 15's would fit the bill better for what you want. Nice progress! 1 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Specs? Guessing these are the 16x8 +0 version? If so, tire size? This is almost exactly what I want for mine, only about 1" higher in the back. Playing around with some wheels, these are 16s btw :geek: Quote Link to comment
