mcmlxxxv
You are correct, the tires are falken ziexs 205/45 r16 , and you mean you would need 1" lower in the front right? really nice ! but I would rise the back one inch ahah :) Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
You are correct, the tires are falken ziexs 205/45 r16 Excellent. Thanks. and you mean you would need 1" lower in the front right? Fun weekend car, yes. Daily driver, no. B) Honestly, a little camber correction (or wider wheels, or spacers) would sort out the look on your car just fine. It's just a lot more flush up front than out back. I love it though. Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
Wrapped my hopelessly cracked dash with $5 worth of vinyl material and painted the metal trim pieces that go behind it (idk what it's called) Not perfect but it will have to do till I can find an nos dash pad  whenever that happens... jalen
When I first came to ratsun I only liked z's and dimes. Now I love 1200's, 411, 620's, 520's, and because of this 610's! Keep up the work Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I'm going to try to do something everyday, even though it may be small. Give this car some much needed tlc this summer :) Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
Got this sunshade off amazon, still not mounted how I want it but it's much cooler in the car now  Replaced these broken sunvisor tabs with 200sx tabs that are a bit wider and darker and got a day/night rearview off an altima in the junkyard waaaaay wider and it's not white except for the cover that I will be painting haha excuse the mess Quote Link to comment
Will
I have the same mirror in my 710 - it's a perfect fit. They molded the Altima cover piece in a few different colors, so you might not even need to paint one. Quote Link to comment

I actually stole the idea from your thread :P If it doesn't look oem when I paint it I will have source one from the junkyard, thanks! Quote Link to comment
Will
Yeah - I see that your original rear-view mirror was made out of the kind of disintegrating plastic as mine too! 1 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
180b B) 610 specific from australia, I was hoping it was the 240Z... :P Where did you buy it? It runs a little too cold now actually... the thermostat doesn't open unless it sits for a few minutes without fans on lol Yeah, when we did one in Tim's car we ended up swapping the 160 thermo out for a 180, then a week later swapped that 180 out for a 192. Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
Fixed the hinge on my glovebox and cleaned up some pretty neat paper work I never really payed attention to Turns out the first owner's name was Richard as well! That's Wangan Midnight status right there  Quote Link to comment
djlotus
Not to burst any bubbles, but that looks more like Michael to me. In any event it's always neat to find the paperwork related to the car. The crossed out 1974 with the 1973 under it on the service booklet made me laugh. 2 Quote Link to comment

ProjectFeint
Picking up some new wheels tomorrow hopefully! They are a downgrade in terms of looks from the xxr's unfortunately but should make for a great track/daily set! Also buying adjustable TC rods from futofab and would like to replace my shot LCA rubber bushings with polyurethane while I'm at it, would there be any structural concerns with the LCA when using poly? Noise, vibration, and harshness isn't a concern. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
They can sometimes make it more difficult to adjust the TC rods. ^_^ But I'd forget the downsides as there's really no upside to running poly bushings there. If you want something stiffer, run heim joints (or other spherical bearings). Otherwise, keep the rubber. FWIW, on my 1200 I replaced my lower bushings with bearings like these: 2 Quote Link to comment
