While waiting on truck, took wagon home after show and ripped the front end out for all new front suspension and looks like I am swapping in a Rebello engine as well. How the fuck does this happen is beyond me.lol

It will be a 2150. Its done it puts down 222 hp at 6900 rpm and 196 ftlbs at 5200 rpm, it will be a screamer

This engine from Rogelio I’m getting should be pretty killer. On Robello’s dyna it makes 222 hp so I’m thinking 160ish to wheels. Should be good

L16/18 blocks have smaller main bearings.

Yes they do, FJ20 also uses L18 mains as well.

Yep, and the crank was ground to fit. Like I said, they were a lot of work.

The SOHC Fords used to have the cranks turned down to accept smaller diameter hemi bearings. This was to reduce the bearing surface speeds.

Racers of small block chevy powered cars would often use bearing inserts behind the actual bearings so they could use the smaller journal cranks. I doubt they still do this.

Also Cerakoted the brake master cylinder and billet reservoirs. I don't want no chrome or polish under hood. I think.

Me too. I really dislike polished aluminum under the hood. Most importantly, all the stuff should follow a them or match. All parts should have the same gloss percentage.
