Muffler test fit...

This is the exact exit location I wanted, and it looks like it will work very well here.

So, as it turns out, I can't find my keys for this car ANYWHERE...

So I ordered up some Solex locks for it.  B)

Stock lock hole...

Needs one side widened for the Solex lock cylinder...

Locks in!

The one for the trunk worked a treat as well, just had to tweak the arm to line up with the stock actuator...   ^_^

Whipped up a trans crossmember and Tim kindly welded it together for me...

Didn't get any photos of the finished product, but I will next time.

Installed the extra wide B210 radiator and some new hoses...

The previous owner cut some of the core support away on the right side for an oil cooler. I'll have to make a panel to cover that so all the air actually goes through the radiator like it should...

If you look closely, you can see I had to make a bracket to go across the gap so the radiator was firmly mounted on all four corners. Now it's in there and it's very secure.

I like the look of the stock heater box, but since I had no plans to run a heater...

I took the heater box apart and completely gutted it. Went from 12 pounds down to about 2 pounds.   B)

Gonna keep all the flapper doors in it so I can still use it as a fresh air device on warmer days.

Took the trans crossmember off and modified it slightly for better exhaust clearance. Pipe tucks up a lot closer now...

Finally got my column seal/surround installed. That was an asswhip...

Cut the carpet to fit around the column...

Got the brake master installed, new hard lines from the master to the distribution block, vacuum advance hose fitted, little cone filter fitted to the valve cover, and a few other things I'm probably forgetting...   ^_^

Previous owner painted the hard lines while painting the engine bay. Then he decided they looked goody in white (duh) so he wrapped them in hard plastic wrap normally used for wrapping a wiring harness.

It's taking all my self control not to take them out and make new ones...

The new hard lines I installed on the master came black coated already.

Your friend Tim needs to wear some gloves.  I've learned and re-learned that the hard way a few times...

The 1200 is looking badass, though

If it is the "burning yourself with the part" issue... meh, fingerprints are overrated.  If it is the "you're going to get skin cancer from the ultraviolet light" issue... feh, something's going to kill me someday.

Where did you get these?

Ebay

Got them installed today. Took may more work than I wanted it to...

Tried a few different grill options. None really jumped out at me. We shall see...

Put the stacks on too. Turns out they actually do touch each other...

Spent most of the time working on the wiring some more. Hope to have that done next week.
