Hi all,

 

Newbie here. Not new to Dimes, I've owned mine since 98 but the motor blew in 01. In the process of swapping in an SR20de. Just about done installing my SR fitting/handling kit from Datsport.:D:D

holy shit !!!!:eek: that blows man melted the taillights right out of it :( thats insaine but at least yours looks to be fixable unlike mine

Happened today. Real sad. I'm going to rebuild for the sake of it. I felt cheated building this 510 and having it burn...

 

 

 

I would so totally fix that. But I would redo the interior, engine, and suspension but leave the body exactly as it is.

 

You can't beat "patina" like that. :D

Only thing to keep in mind about having a big car fire like that is that when metal is heated to that extent, it does become pretty brittle. Definitely have things looked over before it gets back on the road, but it would look pretty rad, and have such a great story behind it!
