elmerfudpucker
Moclips, Pacific Beach, Iron Springs and Taholah here in WA is supost to get hit by 3' waves around 7AM. Hope they are wrong and it is less than a foot. Quote Link to comment
d510addict
My heart goes out to the Japanese people, I hope they can stem this thing with as little casualties as possible. As far as our coast Hawaii hasn't seemed to get much in the way of tsunami waves so I don't think/hope that much of a wave will hit the Oregon coast. Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
We have a warning here from 8:30 to 9:00 am. La Jolla is supposed to take the brunt of it. Local expert says we may not even notice the wave from any of the other regular wind generated ones. Lets hope he is right. Quote Link to comment

Zeusimo
This Is What My Teacher Wrote Me: ありがとうございます。日本語ができる方なのですね。日本の今日はひどい状況です。明日は悲しい日となるでしょう。こんなことは、1995年にもありました。でも、誰を責めることもできません。あなたの応援が、嬉しいです。 Kind Of Difficult For Me To Translate But, Basically Says Thanks For You're Concern, Today (Yesterday) Japan Is In Shock, But Tomorrow Will Be A Very Sad Day This Hasn't Happened Since 1995. fisch
CNN is saying there might be a 8 foot wave in Crescent City CA. Parts of HI got off easy because they weren't facing the wave. Quote Link to comment
HRH
My parents just flew back from Hawaii last night, really glad they're back here. Tsunamis suck, as do earthquakes. Quote Link to comment
Dirk Diggler
Were supposed to get 6 to 8 foot swells right now. Beach access is blocked off, homes and businesses are evacuated, and everyone is headed up hill. I'm about 15 miles inland for work so I can't see anything happening, but my family has a business on the water and my house is a few blocks away so we will see if anything happens. I should have tied an anchor to the z just in case... Quote Link to comment

I've NEVER seen anything like that before. Two cars were safe by maybe 10 seconds! prayers to Japan and families that get affected by the tsunami. Quote Link to comment

Dirk Diggler
They just evacuated the lower half of the town up to 2 miles inland. Hopefully if it has any effect at all it won't reach that far up, especially since the lower half of town is at and below sea level Quote Link to comment
