Fast720
Update Here is a little trick I came up with a few years ago , it's to clean up small parts like little brackets or bolts , you take a small plastic jar , this one is a peanut butter container , drill a hole to fit the nozzle of the gun and a few holes to let the media out , it seems to work very well . the next thing is an old shop vac , drill a hole in the lid , put the hose in the lid and a filter on the exhaust side , this helps reduce the dust in the box to see better and helps keep the dust down in the shop , when the weather is better I set it up outside. Getting ready to put the box back on !!!!! got the parking brake all working , will install the cable now that I can see how it has to go to clear everything 9 Quote Link to comment

mklotz70
Love the tip for blasting the small parts. I've been using this for many, many years....works great. But......I think if the open end with the screen was done on a jar with a lid like yours, it would be perfect!!! I'm def going to be getting couple of jars with screw on lids. :) ....and this is a "before" shot....only one I had that showed the cup nicely. 5 Quote Link to comment

Fast720
Update Hi been super busy with everything else lately . Made a cutter to countersink the fasteners for the carbon exhaust tip cover . I used a piece of tool steel ( parting tool from the lathe ) and a 1/4 inch drill bit , zip cut a slot in it and tacked the blade in. Also got a new ( new to me ) tool Small milling machine , same brand as the lathe , it's old and needs some TLC , but it works ok for now , need some new cutting bits . should come in handy !!!! Hope to get some time in on the truck this weekend ................. 7 Quote Link to comment

Fast720
Hi Everyone Sorry but I have been stupid busy doing everything but working on my truck and my dead line is June 24th . Went to work on Blue thunder one night a couple of weeks ago , and got totally pissed off when I couldn't find a couple of things . was going to glass bead my front Calipers , couldn't find the one that was off the truck , next was a piece of tube for the exhaust tip , so I had enough and did a sort and reorganize . I had 4 buckets of metal that were driving me crazy !!!!! So I built a rack . I will be back on the truck this weekend !!!! Sorted all the short stuff into plastic bins , now easy to see what's there !!! All on wheels so easy to move and clean or ( look for that C clip that flew across the shop ) LOL So thanks for the nudge and fallowing ...........please stay tuned More to come 10 Quote Link to comment
