Your bottom end sounds plenty stout, I know how much of a PITA it can be to street tune a car . Being able to datalog multiple parameters like your MS can do certainly doesn`t hurt. You know I have most of the pieces/parts to make a simple methanol injection system laying around if your interested in the future. What`s really funny is I just sold a factory Garrett turbo that would have been about ideal for your setup a few months ago, it was a .60 AR housing T4 sixty trim with a T3.63 exhaust with a stage III exhaust wheel the turbo flowed around 60lbs/min. I have a T67 T04S with a T3.82 exhaust with a stage V wheel but unless your planning on running down literbikes with your truck it`s too much turbo.

So I did a little more tuning today. Im up to 14 pounds of boost and holy shit. I can go into a corner at about 35mph in second gear, give it a little throttle and bam......sideways! This thing is making boost pretty much off idle and holds it right up to 7000rpm. Now I just need to find the time to make some video of it. :)

The build on the L20et was not done half assed on this truck and is capable of some very serious performance . I just was doing a little "what if", personally I think it has the potential of feeding humble pie to many a serious performace car out there.

I surprised the shit out of that mustang GT the other day. And that was at 10 pounds of boost!

The dyno run is in the works. The video is just a matter of timing. I have a wierd schedule where all my work on the truck takes place before 1100 when I have to pick up the kids from school. All my friends have normal schedules and are free in the afternoon. I also have a few lean spots to work out in the tables but nothing big. Im hoping to get it on the dyno in a couple of weeks.

Keep your eyes and ears open for awhile on that subject.....There is a Bill in the California legislature (sort of dead at the moment for lack of interest, but on the agenda....sort of) to change the smog laws of California...making ALL vehicles (NO MATTER HOW OLD!!) 15 years and older subject to ....ANNUAL.....smog tests!!! YES I DID SAY ANNUAL...as in every year..and yes I did say older than 15 years...SO BOYS and GIRLS...that 33 Ford 3 window coupe or that 56 Chevy you have MIGHT just be lookin at SMOG CHECKS...EVERY YEAR........

We do however have a pretty good lobby in Sacramento..(Hot Rod magazine is in the middle of this for us..) anyway, just a small heads up for ya...

I wouldn't doubt it, he already revoked the 30 year smog exemption.

Now only 1976 or older are smog exempt and will stay like that for years.

wait stop 76? i thought it was 75 if its 76 im about to be the happiest man alive
