Got my 4speed trans replaced. Drained the 10year old gas out. Stinky.

 

Someone already mangled the shifter hole, so I cut it slightly larger to make the trans go in easier(had to be done my patients were wearing thin) While cutting I managed to nick the rear brake line that I didn't see........:angry:

 

Can I patch the line or do I have to totally replace it?

Got a tool kit from my work as a gift for being there for 5 years of service and took the tools and put them in my Nostalgic Hero tool pouch I got from the NOS2DAY car show in Japan. While at it cleaned out the glove box and changed out the flashlight batteries.

 

also may have found some filters for my mikuni's, been wanting some for some time.

You can replace a section but you cannot patch the hole.

While I was partying in Vegas my Datsun buds were replacing the diff in the White Knight, but still needed U-joints. Today i pull the drive line and popped off the u-joints 1 end was a breeze the other a real bitch, tomorrow i need to order new ones and reinstall

cut out a rusty rocker on my 68 510, welded in a patch in the rear arch and fitted the new rocker panel section(a modified/ cut up JC whitney one i got a decade or more ago lol)... doing the otehr side tomorrow.

Found some air filters for my mikunis and put them on and went for a drive. car drove great but maybe the cold weather. car felt like a champ

Pulled the A/C Compressor, Power Steering Pump, and the rest of the useless crap off of my SR20DET. I also started to clean the block.

Got some 200SX front struts,timing belt kit for the VG, new mounts from Nissan, New Fuel Line with AN fittings and getting ready to get the engine and trans into the car.

 

It was a productive vacation!

Ordered some Touge Factory Gold Pulleys for the SR

Welded these two LEETLE tubes onto my frame to mount this bumper that I've had stashed away for YEARS. Got to look at the shiny chrome afterwards, too. IT's all part of the current rotisserie build (the bumper mount points will double as the rotisserie mount points) so I can flip the car over and do the work of building the underside while being relatively comfortable doing so (yes, I'm not a young man)
