But part of commuting in a old car is the fact it makes the drive a pleasure drive. :cool: Man, you guys out west and your silly shit. I'm surprised there hasn't been like a mass exodus of car lovers to the southwest yet. No inspections here, rarely any major snow, what the fuck is a smog check? I can buy vintage plates that are 21 years or older and register them to my car with no restriction. Hell the miata cost me 21 dollars a year to tag, the Datsun and vw is 20. -

decided to go with a turbo over the sc for the miata, the SC will go on the roadster's R16

actually reason I'm going with turbo on the miata is its cheaper then another supercharger..
Turbo kit will run me about 500 bucks with a chinacharger.
The miatas have been making just as good numbers with the s/c its just not cheap.

keep in mind that there is going to be a lot of piping.. don't forget BOV, Wastegate if not internal, intercooler (IF running high enough boost)i mean there is alot to go with Turbocharging... i'm sure you know that already, but when all is said and done, if you buy quality parts, SC and TC cost about the same. lol i've done soooo much research on forced induction... i'm probably going to do a remote turbo

yeah, I've kept that in mind. Buying some parts from used OEM turbo setups over cheap china parts.

Do you guys feature white light for the driving light that is built into the housing? Also how weatherproof is the backing on your housings? The roadster has buckets that aren't very deep, but I can easily make room but would need lights that could possibly be splashed directly with water.

If they are violent threats through text it is a crime, a lot of people don't realize that. When you report it they can request the copy from the phone company, won't be any argument over who said what as they record this shit. Just keep that in mind, and hold your cool over text or even sites like facebook (trust me, we get subpenas at my work over this kinda shit often.) -

I'd suggest a lighter engine then the R16 as it outweighs the A14 by far for how little power you'd gain. -

pretty much this was the plan, not really wanting to tweak it or anything. Though the Gy6 swap does seem like a good idea, I seem to have a habit though of starting money pits and really just want something reliable and untouched. :P -
I'm considering dumping having so many projects and just sticking with the datsun and getting a ruckus for general back and forth to work riding. I was considering a vintage vespa, but figure long as I dont really do much to the engine I'd never have to work on the ruckus besides general maintenance. So yeah, anyone here know anything about them. I've been poking around on the internet but figured if someone here had some first hand knowledge it would be better then random sites.

Just random thought.. Injecting water into the intake does help mileage, its been done for ages. Its gains aren't really worth mass production cars though, turbo cars often run a meth/water injection to help. These threads of HHO pop up time to time on ratsun. :lol:
