They've been doing this for a while, the VW crowd and various pushrod fans are very aware of it. I know with 2 of my 3 cars having pushrods I'd made myself aware of whats in my oil. Also there are additives for it you can get to mix in with your oil. -
I think I am doing it wrong.. I wana stick an EFI engine in the Roadster and a Carbed Rotary in the Miata.. lol

I use rockauto overall, or specialty stores.. lol none of the major chains carry parts for my vw or roadster.

Wow, they missed a lot of interesting tidbits. Like my favorite the Fairlady S, and various other things including specs on earlier cars.

From what I had gathered the car was pretty butchered already, so was just finishing it off. I found it when I had intended to stuff an RB20 into my roadster, which I still may do someday but I want to tinker with the miata B6 first and see how I like that

its known as the zoadster, apparently it was a factory lightweight roadster that someone stuck a L series in. Car was dismantled by the owner and no longer exist.

Yeah, full restore jobs aren't cheap. If you don't care about going factory stock then you have a bit of body work, can make your own interior pannels, and more. I could go into full detail, but thats a lot of typing and looking at receipts. I wont lie, that car needs a shitton of work. I was up for it myself when I bought mine, and have spent the last 3 years when I have time off work fixing it. -
Yeah, was just posting those as price examples. I think you'd be better off making your own.

Also just a note.. It will not cost that much to restore to a ratty roadster, just take a lot of labor. I have a price log on my roadster which was 400 bucks, and so far I have about 2500 total into the car and it was a 1.6L but I was missing a lot of pieces that you have already and went aftermarket on things like brakes. -

I got the wideband o2 I bought for 35 dollars installed on the miata and tried installing megasquirt again... The usb to serial ports fail hard at times and will cause megasquirts firmware to go fubar. So I bought an old old old old pentium 3 450mhz laptop just to tune megaquirt with.
