  1. I've also heard of a method of putting soapy water in lines and freezing them to bend without crushing.
  2. You can brush it on or thin it out and use a sprayer, they also have some rattle cans available.
  3. I've been looking into plasti-dip for interior pieces for a while, but have seen a few wheels painted with the stuff and have to say I am seriously considering it after I found this kit. http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Create_Your_Color_Kit Anyone here paint their wheels with the stuff?
  4. opted for neither, but my miata will have the wonderful gift of a 5.3L less I find a 13B in running shape for like 200-300 bucks.
  5. Yeah, southern half. I travel up to OKC all the time, my miata is hard to miss.
  6. I am already planning to waste a bonus check on things. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/2702847504.html or this http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/2728888395.html (no oic's but 78 B210 that runs and drives.)
  7. Keep the engine stock, sell the KA, and buy the parts to put it back stock, then have a weekend fix it party with beer and pizza for those who will help you get it road ready in a weekends worth of work?
  8. dang it. I should have used a towel while mouting my tires, scratched the shit out of my equip 01's

you mount your own tires? Oh I see now... :|

  9. Fucksticks. I scratched the shit out of one of my rims mounting the wheels.. Gonna try to polish the scratches out, if this doesn't work then I'll be painting the aluminum pink as I don't really want to pay for wheel repair. Tires are mildly stretched 185/70/13's on the 7" and 7.5" wide wheels.
  10. I'll just repeat my previous post. You need more roadster in your life, its like a miata, only classier.
  11. think if these people put all that time into full scale.
  12. Yeah, Pontiac motors are different back then. They had no small block Pontiac, was all the same size.
  13. Depends on what I do, I was thinking of using the flyin' miata kit and saving myself a ton of work. But I can build my own subframe and stuff and save a few grand. Side note my tires got in and I am getting them mounted tomorrow.
  14. I have been thinking of a 5.3L Vortec swap over rotary.. I can pick up the 5.3 for like 300 bucks all day and with the iron block I think it would welcome a turbo with open arms. I love the sound of a 13B but I'd kinda like some okay gas mileage. Though I do have dreams of a ITB LSx swimming around in my head. I decided the roadster will keep its R16 tell the miata gets a new engine since I cant bring myself to cut up the body work I finished. Also waiting on a set of 185/70/13's for the Work Equip 01's, I'll get pictures after I mount them.
  15. I can kinda understand the dudes anger over his car, my miata was keyed not to long ago and I was not happy about it. Vet or not treating someone else's property like that is wrong. Nobody should have to clean that shit off their car, if the guy knew his history he'd be doing more then mitsu's as plenty of other companies around today was back then that make shit we use every day including Nissan.
  16. There is actually a bit of aftermarket for the smart, turbos and stuff.. Wheel adapters would be your best bet, I am sure if it was released here in the states it would have been crazy popular. But as normal the US gets the shaft on cool rides.
  17. Its no datto but I wish they released the Smart Roadster here. RWD and sporty as fuck look, sub 15k sportscar.
  18. I've always wanted one of these I found a 350 but the crank was trash so I didnt buy it.
  19. Been looking at the cheapest RWD car on the market and are pulling the trigger on owning one.. Don't laugh cause its a smart car.

I never understood that 'smart' part about it. Performance? No. Gas mileage? No. Utility? No. Looks? Subjective. The only thing it really has going for it that beats out other cars for the money is the size. There's probably at least a dozen cars out now that get better mileage of it and can seat 4 people with better drivetrain warranties. But if you like it that's all that counts...just not my cup of tea but what the heck, enjoy it!!!

rear engine and rear wheel drive, those are the biggest factors in my picking the car.. Plus the Suzuki engine swaps avalable :)
