I see datsuns all the time available. I've got my eye on a purple 620 king cab, if they will sell. As for what happened.. It sucks but cash talks, I've had too many buyers on things burn me to not take cash now.

The X-bodies aren't nearly as heavy as people think, its why they are popular. They normally are around 3k even with the V8.. If that car was built pre-LS1 days then it was most likely fairly light.. If they are like most people when they start such a project the spend a lot on the spare and/or replacement parts and are trying to recuperate the cost, normally a car is worth more in pieces if you sell it piece by piece, but they don't want to part it out. Also with a lot of people cash talks, you show up with what its actually worth in hand and they will take it.

I'm sure they didnt want to add speed holes to the yota.

I'd say it is a 5, just because its more time consuming then labor intensive. Holding a soldering iron steady is a lot of work at times for me. I'd do it again if I needed another MS, just I wont be building my own harness this time.

Megasquirt will keep that issue from happening, I built my own v3.0 unit. was a lot of work lol

I've got a bit of updates: I got a turbo manifold and downpipe for 100 bucks, I bought a TD05-14B turbo off a galant vr4 for 60, cheapy 100 dollar ebay intercooler kit with BOV. Now I am waiting on the 6 puck ceramic clutch I ordered to get in and then I'll turbo the bucket.

That sucks, looks fixable overall though. Since you are out west though you can always find an NA shell and have a pretty quick one.

Yeah, this one is a ceramic and I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, though I dont expect it to hold the power rating they claim but I wont be above 230 crank hp or torque so.

Decided to nab one up for the miata, I cant find squat on them from the internet. I'm guessing I'm one of the early buyers of either an ebay fail or a good deal, lol. If anyone knows anything, let me know.
