slam_dat_sun
Yeah he will fix it I am sure, if you lived in phoenix az you could have got it done for half that, lots of competitive shops out here hurting for money . I got my full exhaust done 2 3/4 with a 10" glass pack for $110 but I wanted a regular muffler to keep it quite but they didn't have one that would fit where I wanted it mounted . J.C_620
i am sure he will fix it also i went with two 1 3/4 pipes coming off the manifold all the way to the back of the transmission were the driveshaft meets into a 3" pipe thats about 2 feet long into a 3"inlet thrush 2 chamber muffler similar to a flowmaster with dual 2 1/2 outlets with two 2 1/2 pipes out the back it would be a true dual exhaust if it wasnt from the one 3' pipe and the single inlet muffler i will post pic sometime this week as its dark right now and there is snow on the ground its sounds pretty good even tho the pipes are a little on the large side but i did loose some low end power this is close of very simular to the muffler i went with http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Muffler---3-inch--ID-Inlet-Thrush_20291345-P_N3333E_P|GRP2023P____# Quote Link to comment
slam_dat_sun
Oh you did dual pipes, well I think you got a good deal then I was thinking a single pipe . Quote Link to comment
J.C_620
it is almost a true dual setup has 2 pipes all the way out except about 3 foot for the single inlet muffler and 3" pipe going into the muffler Quote Link to comment

mr68gts
rip the carpeting out of the 76 to get it ready for transfer into the 73 cab so I can wash it first and started gutting the 76 interior basically. Quote Link to comment
djt0ast
Finally installed a turn signal switch that isn't bent! Pulled a near perfect dash for 40 bucks, no cracks on top at all I couldn't believe it. Rewired and fixed the CD player... Anyone know how to re-build the factory Hitachi carb? I think it needs to be done... I called Bills Datsun in Clackamas, and he quoted me 200 bucks... I'm just thinking there may be a cheaper place, plus I would like to learn how to do it anyways. TrevDaddy
I rebuilt mine for $18. Well actually a friend did it for me for free, he had experience with Triumph carbs. I'm sure there is a set of instructions, if not, just take your time and learn as you go. Makes a big difference. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The factory Hitachi all you have to do is remove the top, rinse out the bowl, spay carb cleaner through all the jets and passageways and put the top back on. The most common problem is crud in the bottom of the bowl where the main jets fit. Quote Link to comment
77 rustrat
moved it 4 feet after i blew the tires up... and then looked at and dreamed some more Quote Link to comment

motavated
Bought this light bar form the yard. Yay or nay? More lights needed for the canyons I guess. It broke and had it welded. COuld even it out. But it might weaken it again. Quote Link to comment
Rubberman
I like it motivated. What did it come off of? Quote Link to comment
motavated
Got it off a 720 in the yard. Its one of those universal ones that can be cut down. Looks good I think. Hold on to the rails. Quote Link to comment
Braden
tuned up the carb a bit, checked the oil, bought some titan wheels, and drove it like i stole it!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
denveratsun
Turned on the wipers while driving in lightly falling snow. Made smear marks on the window. Wished I had a better heater. Wondered how much longer till I can tear my front end apart to fix the king-pins. Quote Link to comment
