earlyvws
I made an appt with DMV. It's next week. I didn't want to go stand in line with the new drivers license craziness. The appt was almost 3 weeks out. So finally coming up. 2 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I don't do this often, but I agree with tanker, stock look better. I just don't like a high back seat in a sedan. Car is looking good. 2 Quote Link to comment
earlyvws
I prefer the stock seats. But for now I just want a clean interior. This is the cheapest and easiest way to accomplish that. 2 Quote Link to comment
earlyvws
Came out ok. A little loose. But now sit a little too high with new foam. Tried it before tearing seats apart and height was ok. Now my head is basically touching the roof again. 3 Quote Link to comment
skyblue
Just throw some cinder blocks i there and let them sit to break in the foam. Lol. They look good. 2 Quote Link to comment

wayno
I guess you need to slouch in the seat, I learned to in my 67 roadster with the hard top. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dolomite
Roll O.G. style with the seat leaned back and your elbow on the console:-) 2 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Came out ok. A little loose. They will shrink up a bit as time goes by. You want them a little loose when first installed. Can I ask where you got them? I need some for my 280Z and I'm seeing mixed reviews on the MSA covers... 1 Quote Link to comment
earlyvws
I got them from here. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/classic08f01 They were fast shipping. Had them in stock. Quote Link to comment

That would be MSA. Would love to hear what you think about the quality of stitching and materials? Quote Link to comment
earlyvws
My impression of quality is 7 out of 10. I think the stiching is good. Vinyl inserts are really nice the side vinyl is pretty good grade. Overall for the price I think they are very good quality. The main issue is the lack of wire or at least string to close up the bottoms. I reused the wire for the bases, but the upper I couldn't. They didn't really leave room for it. I might of been able to make it work but was running out of time and I wanted to finish them last night. Compared to TMI stuff I've used, I would say these were better quality. The foam is also very nice especially for the price. I've paid the same amount for vw pads that were not really molded or high density like these. So overall I feel I got a good deal for the money I paid. Of course u could pay a lot more for even better results. But that's not what I was going for for these. 2 Quote Link to comment

Canadian510
Simply amazing! One of my dream cars for sure. Where did you end up finding this one at? Been casually looking at them for awhile to see if i could find one to rebuild. No fun in buying them already done! Keep up the nice work :) Quote Link to comment
