125 CSL
World news, with the EU sinking and Spain even more so, I can see why Catalonia wants to be its own country. datzenmike
2 moms charged as genital mutilation scandal widens Detroit — Federal prosecutors unveiled charges Thursday against the mothers of two 7-year-old girls from Minnesota whose genitalia were cut during a religious procedure earlier this year. Haseena Halfal, 34, of Plymouth, Minnesota, and Zainab Hariyanawala, 31, were indicted five months after federal prosecutors unveiled the first female genital mutilation case in U.S. history. http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/detroit-city/2017/09/14/moms-charged-genital-mutilation-scandal-widens/105608154/ Almost every male in North America has been genitally mutilated and they had no say in it. 1 Link to comment

The Bizarrely Profitable Business Of Baby Foreskins This Holy Grail for skin creams is one that recreates the smooth, wrinkle-free skin that so many lust after. And 50 percent of the population has what the cosmetic companies need. It’s not fat, but it’s another body part that some of us just want to get rid of right away: the foreskin. That’s right, the tip of the penis that is cut off in religious ceremonies throughout the world is really a fountain of youth, and actually one of the best sources of fibroblasts. http://knowledgenuts.com/2013/09/23/the-bizarrely-profitable-business-of-baby-foreskins/ 1 Link to comment
datzenmike
Actually none of 'just want to get rid of it right away'. When you turn 18 and have a choice would you let someone near you with scissors???? We have no choice in this barbaric primitive practice. It's bullshit. 1 Link to comment

Fibroblasts are also stupidly easy to extract and grow and can be produced from many different tissues. They are damn near one of the easiest cells to grow and the collagen they talk about in this article is not hard to produce or harvest (Collagen Type I) even human. You know this collagen more commonly as the base ingredient in JELLO (boiled denatured bovine collagen type I). How do I know this? I use to do research on harvesting stem cells from skin including baby foreskin. I'm also an expert on collagen containing tissues. We got it free (well we paid shipping) with a few connections from the hospitals as waste material, we also got adult skin from tummy tucks and breast reductions. As a research material it has some neat uses and the cells do grow well but for commercial purposes the usage is still just a few products. Probably the biggest market at this point is for research purposes and skin graft production but even that is somewhat limited. Getting a product from research to production is long and expensive. For instance, the FDA tends to take a dim view on untested products involving live cells being injected (per the article). Note they co-mingle commercialization with research, always a bad sign the journalist did not do their homework. The market for it is nowhere near what these articles (which are quite old at this point) fear monger about at all, these are really closer to an AD for the products then a warning on the commercialization of human foreskins. Yes the products produced from foreskin might be expensive and profit making but that is because of the monumental cost associated in processing/growing/safety testing anything derived from them. All kinds of tissues are cheap on the raw product end and produce expensive products, one of the oldest and most well known being blood and associated products. To note, my boys are NOT circumcised as I do not adhere to any religious practices that require this and I consider it unnecessary surgery done for historical/religious/political reasons. 1 Link to comment

tr8er
I was relieved of the decision by only having girls. I was certainly not wanting to snip, but it's still a tough decision. It's getting easier as it is getting more common/accepted. No one wants their boy teased or self conscious as is always the case when in the minority. But, I'm glad to see the tide turn. Wish I had mine, but perhaps someone sprayed it on their face for beauty/stupidity, and that's worth it! Link to comment

There is a very minor health benefit in circumcision does reduce the risk of penile cancer (slightly) from HPV and reduces the risk of a man getting HIV from an HIV + women during vaginal sex. No reduction in risk for any other combination of partners or HIV+ male to HIV- female. So +5 health when banging dirty whores but that's about it. 2 Link to comment

Once again, no vaseline http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-pol-ca-california-sanctuary-state-bill-20170916-story.html Well this is to be expected, right? California is a spoil of war with Spain and historically Mexican. With more Mexican immigrants flooding in there would be a lot of push back like this. The fix would be to make them American citizens. Problem solved. At the same time you might want to close off the border or all of Mexico will move there. 1 Link to comment

Ratwagon1600
It started as Cuz Merica? The very first post in this 21000 + post journey was from an online article I found about an American childrens book about open carry. Somewhat bemused that someone would actually write a book for children on why their parents open carry I thought id start a thread on it. Given this wonderful forum is perdominately subscribed to by Americans, I thought it would elicit a few responses and die out quickly. How wrong I was! 5 Link to comment
