AtomChurch
I want the engine to sit a lot lower. I should be able to go down three to four more inches. However I have to be mindful of the new suspension I am going to make for it. I'll more photos of the motor fitment tomorrow. I am hopefully going to have height and position set tomorrow and same tacked up mounts to take measurements from. I might end up stripping the engine bay more before I make the mounts. w_datsun_a
Just randomly dropping this here, because race car. I love how the cardboard is down both in the front and under the rear axle! 1 Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
you gonna be able to get a radiator in there? Yes I should be able too using push fans. I might get a custom one made not sure yet. Depends on what's available and what I choose to do! Hahah. Quote Link to comment

Tristin
You can always look at the civic half radiators... if you pick up a quality piece, the thinner ones cool more than youd think and are a small size. I used to run one on a turbo DSM so Im sure you can manage with one. Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
Just randomly dropping this here, because race car. This car is kinda why I am building it this way. I figured it won some races like the five ten. Plus it's rad looking. And make it am updated version of that car. It would be killer to slide this thing around some corners like I was in a block of ice. Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
I think the car needs I be a lot lower also. I am 90 percent on linkin both axles. 2 Quote Link to comment

AtomChurch
I would like too. But I am not planning on it money will probably slow me down too much to get done by then. Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
I just always figured you wanted the engine as low as possible. I even got the stock trans cover to fit! Didn't think it would fit. Anywho. I took the brake lines out of the way and the clutch line and slave. Both toasted. I am thinking I might run these. The engine is mostly where it's going to go. With a remote oil filter it will fit great. Two and a half inches for a radiator and that's to the factory firewall with room but minus the heater box lip that I won't be putting back. I am going to use a 320 heater box in cab. Kinda keeping it looking from the same era. I removed the old motor mounts an maybe a quick bracket to hold the trans where I want it. And that's about as far as I got today. Need to run to clackamas steel and pick up some metal for the brackets. 1 Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
Speedo works. And the fitting seems to be Nissan standard. Hmm. Guess I will have a working speedometer! Which is good news. Quote Link to comment

AtomChurch
I am thinking finding a Chevy Ibeam axle. The steering is great drops down on the fender side of the frame and only one push pull rod travels across te engine bay. If I 3 link it it should work out beautifully. Quote Link to comment
