Tin God
The little red car is an NSU German car with air cooled 2 cylinder engine in the rear, Not that common a car either. Have a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSU_Prinz Quote Link to comment

Z chopper
ok some information gathering. I was told the black truck was taken off the road due to the steering being "loose" It hasn't ran in 10 years. so I think new spark plugs, plug wires, coil, battery, new gas, new starter and see if it will start. not sure but I have heard somthing about putting a little diesel fuel in the cylinders to lubricate them. not sure what to do about the steering, I plan on heading to pick it up in about a month or so. it is a 1970 521 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Probably needs an idler arm. :) Quote Link to comment
crabbyone
Yes, it is an NSU Prinz....late 50's, early 60's. 583 cc 2 cylinder aircooled rear mounted engine. In it's time, it was the fastest European micro car. I had one as my first car, when I was a senior in high school, back in 1967. Handled like a go kart, heckuva lot of fun to drive! I would love to have another, as a go to work car.... Quote Link to comment

hobbes_the_cat
My advice is don't wait for too long, once the owners see they have some value it doesn't take long for someone else to drop by and snag em. Quote Link to comment
Z chopper
I emailed them to make sure I could pick them up in a month or so. The black truck has the j13 engine, yet everything I have read is that all 1970 521s had the L16 Quote Link to comment
