q-tip
What model? Yes, this. It's Beretta they've been manufacturing fire arms for something like 400 years, you're going to need to be a bit more specific. Quote Link to comment

TENDRIL
Just all black, as I couldn't justify spending 200 more quid on SS and a different grip Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Just all black, as I couldn't justify spending 200 more quid on SS and a different grip I can't either, I only have one gun that isn't black, and that's cause its aluminum and doesn't come in black. Quote Link to comment

q-tip
Cerakote can fix this. Yes, but its getting all kinds of cool polished edges from me carrying it all the time. 2 Quote Link to comment
dimlight65
Haha 92fs I loves me some 92 pattern guns. I've had at least three Taurus PT92s in the past. My current "Pimp Gun" is an aluminum/stainless 92 with faux pearl grips. I might have mentioned it when I bought it because the serial number is: my initials, my younger/older brother's birthday, my older/older brother's birthday... and a seven. 1 Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
well i really wanted the taurus 92 more than the beretta, but because im cali, i have to find one PPT. and good luck with that... Quote Link to comment
Skib
I loved my Taurus PT92, 17rd mags right out of the box. 1 Quote Link to comment

dimlight65
Ok, I'll "pile on" here as well and say that the reason I prefer the Taurus to the Beretta is the frame mounted safety. The slide mounted safety on the Beretta isn't as easy to use... in my opinion. 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
The frame mounted safety on the taurus is almost identical to a 1911, that may be where you get your preference from. Quote Link to comment

I was thinking that exact thing as I typed about it! I also like that it is also a de-cocker... the lever that is. I'm not advocating shoosting dudes in the junk! Quote Link to comment
Skib
most is 1000+ rounds through it without cleaning and not one FTF FTE True story. I have taken a PT92 and run over 1000 rounds threw it with every range of ammo I could find. Right down to the shitty nasty sticking to my fingers brass I found in my brother in laws dads garage that was prob 10 years old. I also never cleaned it in that time aside from brushing out the barrel. I never once had any malfunction. Quote Link to comment
