Well here's an update :)

Started mocking up harness. It's gonna be a little crazy...

Here's all the info I gotta bring together as one..

Yikes... Should be fine ;) I'll have an engine harness (plugs into the bulkhead connector) and a body harness when it's all said and done. Hopefully it all works :)

Should fit nice here:

I'll retrim the glove box so just the flashers/relay and fuses are showing.

:)

Gauge cluster, ignition switch, turn signals and horn wired. Now I need to finish the head light switch and wipers. Wipers will use mostly factory wiring as it's a simple system. Just needs the new feed line.

Headlights will be a hybrid. The 510 switches the ground to go between high and low beams. I'll use the stock headlight relay to accomplish this.

Dash is done besides wipers. I found one mistake so far. Got the charge indicator and high beam indicator swapped. No biggie. Besides that it looks like it should work. Much cleaner and simpler. I'll probably hook everything up in a loose state to test and then I'll put connectors under the dash. I need to be able to remove the dash with cutting the harness out...

The only wire missing from this picture is the electric radiator fan power. Way cleaner....

Why not make a new headlight system like I did? Low/high circuits have their own relay and fuse. Stock wiring activates the relays and the highbeam switch on the column grounds the highbeam relay. Low beams do not dim with highbeams turned on. If you have the power to supply the lights, might as well use it, right? I'm still using sealed beams and they're WAY brighter than with the stock wiring. Best of all, no more flickering from the headlight switch being overloaded.

Forget that last post. I'm moving on now...

Started fitting. Lots of hammering and cutting. It's gonna work out fine. I'm flaring out the side of the tunnel to be flush with the flange and a flat piece of sheet will.fill the hole in front. I'll make a vertical filler piece on the backside of the flange.

Getting there. Now I need to pull the motor/tranny for the LAST time so I can work this sheet metal from underneath and finish weld out. Then it's on to wiring the engine bay for lights. After that the motor/tranny goes back in for good...
