Josh K.
Wired for H1/H4's. Hopefully it's right... Gotta mount the fan. I'm going to use the push through mounts as it will be much easier. 2 Quote Link to comment
shacks510
I always love a clean wiring harness. I'd like to redo my dash harness one day but It's a bit more involved than a engine bay harness that I recently did. 1 Quote Link to comment
S30Jay
Wiring looks really nice! 1 Quote Link to comment
fisch
It will be worth it man for the clean bay! 1 Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
I like the blue tape idea. Going to have to try it. 2 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Thanks guys. Gotta keep moving along... Headlights, turn and running lights wired. I plan on getting repop headlight buckets also. Mine are pretty nasty. Now I need to wire the fan, alternator and starter. Then pull through the firewall and get back to work pulling all the systems together. One more thing done.. Look at all that dust on my shiny paint :( 3 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I have a set of the repo headlight assemblies and the buckets aren't held in as tight as the factory buckets. I haven't compared them side by side but I think there is a spring or something missing. 1 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Main harness is done. Decided to do a seperate, second small harness for the fan, alternator and starter. I'll zip tie that one along the main harness.. so fresh and so clean clean... 4 Quote Link to comment

Maybe I'll just blast and paint mine body color. We'll see. 2 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
They're nice for sure the buckets just seem more loose. 1 Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
It's also cheaper to use what I got. I'll examine them next week. Nothing is better then factory parts.. :) 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoney
I've read that fair few guys on Ozdat complain about the repro headlight buckets, quite a few even then go back to getting their original ones blasted and zinc coated 1 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks. 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
If you lived closer I could drop mine off for you to look at. I won't have time until next week to go out and compare side by side unfortunately. 1 Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
Yes.... I figured it was fitting since I spend HALF my time figuring out how to balance the function vs. form before I actually commit.... 1 Quote Link to comment

shacks510
Racecars don't have headlight buckets. Problem solved ;) 2 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Seam sealed and undercoated the tranny tunnel. Shot some primer on to cover the bare metal. Keep moving forward... 2 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
I love Eastwood but they have the slowest damn shipping department. Takes a week just to ship! I need to flare the clutch hard line.... Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
Thanks! Doing all the dirty work. Welding under the car... finished the exhaust notch and welded up a ton of holes. Gotta keep grinding along... 1 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Motor/tranny back in. Alternator, starter and fan wired. Just need to run an engine ground, connect the oil sender and the front wiring is done. Then the fun of merging all systems and installing connectors. Fingers crossed... The "Go stick"!! 2 Quote Link to comment
