Since I left southern California and will be missing out on JCCS for 2010 I guess I will have to go to this when I get back. No, the truck wont be there. You know, Klotz is the only one to ever see it. I am surprised no one has gone and said something like it doesn't exist...

I will be in Kuwait for another 7 months (should be back by feb) then I have to tow the thing up with all my junk from Southern California all while trying to locate a job in OR/WA. I have some stuff on my plate. But I guess it could happen. I just cant wait to attend one of these with or without the truck!

Reason why I ask is that there is a small contingent of Datsun guys in Kuwait. One guy sells on eBay, rare stuff.

I am south of Kuwait city by about 45 min(?) and work on a Mil installation. I don't go out on the town much so I kinda just know how to get to work and get home. I have seen a few 720s, hard bodies, and a ton of 4 door variations of trucks here though no 620s. I will take pictures... Maybe I will bring pictures to Canby! :)

I am sure I have seen one here... Seriously, I will try to take pictures as soon as one of the other guys is able to drive here so I am passenger. Problem is I changed shifts and I dont see the interesting vehicles much anymore.

 

Back on topic... Since I have never been to Canby, what should I expect and bring? (chairs to chill in, grub, money for prost....wait wrong meeting).

I still have my Canby bracelet on. Wife shakes head. Can't move on to acceptance until it naturally ages and fall off by itself. Closure is still pending.....

I've been to the Canby show at least 3 years in a row,and have yet to bring a Datsun of my own. I actually LIVE here in Canby too. My Goon had brake issues this last year,and wouldn't go more than a few blocks without locking up. I've got that fixed now,but it's always something with this poor old car( it sat for a long time,before I got it). My goal is to at the very least get the car to the show,& park with the other non-competing cars,( I don't really care about "show car" props). I can never get too much Datsun stuff, love checking out the other Datsuns,talking to other Datsun people,etc. I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow Ratsun-ers too.
