Tristin
that mirror dangle thingy might be considered illegal does it give you a blind area ? that would drive me nuts I'm pretty sure it's illegal, but I wouldn't say it's a bigger blind spot than the guys with 40 black ice air fresheners on their mirrors. It's not too bad driving it, but for police sake I tuck it up while driving. Then pull it down when parked. It's only been on for a day so we will see if I keep it up there. Found it at Goodwill for $2 so I had to have it. Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Down loaded all of Kid Rock. ( Can't cruise on exhaust notes alone ) Detailed gas tankle area too. Installed new battery. Funcked with wires. Turned around and parked before running it dry. Got "lost" in the country after that. Got scared... Went slower then normal... Date with the tire guy tomorrow. We hope. Aren't front wheel slicks for Hondas? Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Heres the full thing if anyone minutely cares: 2 Quote Link to comment
zianian
lolAren't front wheel slicks for Hondas? The slicks are gone. 4 new all around. They should'a used the stick on weights (if you ask me). The hammer on style scratch shit and in my case rub against a steering knuckle when ya turn right. What's up with that? Also they couldn't put it on the rack for an alignment. Will try a different joint in the morning. We'll see. (Lower lil rubber whitish tit lookin' think... rubs the knuckle right there :( and we... got scared & stupid again (with old "slicks"), washed a few tires/wheels, waited for tires, called/stopped by new "alignment" shop (we'll see). cleaned/colored carpet pads, detailed oil catch breather thingy, bought new blue pine trees 3 of them, shimmied up gas tank strap (no more rattlin'). Nothing much. Drive straight... no clunky right turns... Maybe tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
zianian
O yeah... Goodwill freakin ROCK$ Quote Link to comment
danfiveten
Oil change, nissan filter, and flushed the radiator, had some rust come out, hoping that was my heat issue (shes been running a lil bit hot) so hoping she runs cooler now. Quote Link to comment
zianian
cleaned and blew it out again, drove... to alignment joint, drove... harder. Still need to get wheels rebalanced Monday (hope for no rain/snow). Hooked it up to the laptop... snooped a lil, backed up everything, logged off. Wondered if I have an ignitor..or four... looked... found this instead... broken angled spark pack holder rack mount error (just one) Went scrounging... Shopped instead... found this... made/hacked these outta that... good to goooo.... and a go we went after that drove like a mother fucker had dinner Quote Link to comment
r0p0doe
Tried to adjust my fpr to see if it would stop the leak but no luck, took it for a spin in the neighborhood to troubleshoot this heating issue but still need to check a few more things. Quote Link to comment
danfiveten
Shes running cooler, now to figure out teh vapor lock issue. Going up sylvan hill in warmish weather i normally hit the m, it didnt go past middle of e, and around downtown and sitting at lights, didnt go past the line at beginning of E. Very happy right now, tomorrow test her more, may not need a 3 core then. Was lots of rust int he radiator. Quote Link to comment

edekalil
Pulled out all my seats, removed carpet, found where my water leak is, dried the floor, dried the carpet, and reinstalled everything. The GF helped out a bit too. Yesterday I installed some new vinyl and a new mirror dangle thingy: Love that steering wheel deal, haven't seen one of those in a while. 1 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Plan to drain gear oil out of trans and pull drive shaft so I can pull it on one of those trailer things you strap the front tires into. That way I can get the 72/510 to the guy to swap out the trans with the one he fixed. As well have him install a new pressure plate clutch and throw out bearing. After that is done I should be able to drive the car and get more done to it. Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Got the 72/510 to the mechanic's shop finally today so he could put the new clutch setup in and then putt the good trans in. Now the wate till I get it back. 1 Quote Link to comment
