  1. Possibly. I have been picking away at that in between Roadster projects. It's a early 71 coupe with 61K on the clock. So early the A12 is orange instead of Nissan blue. PM me if you want more details and a price.
  2. I have never seen a picture of you, there for, you don't exist. Where do you want me to ship this to so you can add it to the pile?
  3. It's all there. A lot of it is in boxes in dry storage. Read everything before you start popping off. ;)
  4. Alrighty then, the pictures speak for themselves. All the parts are there. The trim is off the car and in dry storage. Condition of motor and tranny are unknown but they are in the car. Needs tires to be a roller as the ones on it dry rotted to death. Not my car but I can put you in touch with the owner. Part it out and make money. Bring a can of wasp killer. Pick it on your way home from Blue Lake tomorrow. It's the car your wife always wanted you to drag home. http://picasaweb.google.com/exit64/DropBox?authkey=Gv1sRgCLmZ4vXLuOXXzQE#
  5. I about fell over when I opened the mail box yesterday. Not only was there a fresh issue of a mag that I had given up for dead months ago, but on the inside back there was Fisch. Holy crap, double winner. Off to buy a lottery ticket. :D Hopefully this will pull in some fresh meat onto the board, been a little stale as of late. Kudos to fisch, keep it up.
  6. Two words: Claymore Mine More effective than punji's and less body to deal with later.
  7. I thought that intake looked familiar.

Turn it over with the dizzy cap off. If the pointer is going around, it isn't your timing chain. Did you check for spark? You might have a bad coil, even if it is new. If it runs OK cold and then starts to miss as it runs for a bit, that is one of the symptoms of a coil going bad. Also, dump a little bit of gas straight down the carb and see if it fires then. If so, you have a fuel delivery problem. Don't guess at the problem, diagnose it. Engines only need 3 things to run and if you are missing any of them, no go. Have fun. exit64
  9. Pull the trigger! B) Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
  10. I'll take it, Steve. PP on the way........now!
  11. Nice wiring job on that one. Should only take about a week to sort out. On the plus side, Solex intake manifold which mean there might be a "B" cam under that valve cover. Hoods are easy to get and Ross at Import Sports has everything to put this one right. I wonder why he hasn't already jumped on this one?

I bought my SR20 for the 67.5 Roadster from Dan. Great guy to deal with in that respect. I got what I paid for and the transaction was flawless.

  14. He just stopped to eat a pork sandwich and a doughnut. Just your luck that you live where there is no live camera coverage down at central. My advice, find a new grower, Mister Lizard!
  15. My rear brakes are metal on metal. Does that count?

  16. She is ready for the salt flats with those Bonneville's on her.
  17. Clov311, I love Ratsun but for Roadster know how you need to look at www.311s.org. Look up spriso and check out his swaps and the rearend work that he is doing. There is absolutely no one doing better work, period. He is doing an RX7 rear that is great, disk brakes and LSD. They are getting hard to find out here as he has bought them all up so I am actually thinking about using a Toyota AE86 setup. Should be about the same amount of work as the Mazda. Mike aka exit64
  18. Huge step forward over the past couple of days. I dropped the fuel tank and clean out the remains of the last tank of gas from 1989. One of the nastiest jobs ever when it comes to messing with old cars. I soaked the sludge with acetone for a couple of days and then power washed the inside of the tank. It actually worked great. Nice and clean and no rust. While I had everything apart I changed all the vent lines and cleaned out the hard lines with carb cleaner and compressed air. I am pretty sure the reason this car was parked was that the filler hose to the tank cracked in half and the outlet line from the tank to the hard line was clogged solid with sludge. She runs fine off of a gas can under the hood and should be good to go off of the tank now. I ran out of light tonight but will give it a go tomorrow, if the rain holds off for one more day. Stay tuned.
  19. I think all that information is in the wiki section at datsun1200.com. I have seen that book come up a couple of times on Ebay but not very often.
  20. I bought my setup from Dan at DRG Fabrication in San Jose. Easy guy to deal with and he knows his stuff.
  21. I'd be down for a just a couple of Ratsun meatball stickers. PM me if you make any up.
  22. Ask over on datsun1200.com. They are mostly Aussies over there and I would bet that one of those guys has something laying around.
  23. Are you sure it's not a 110?
