I've done that hike before. There is one big ass banyan tree on the side of the trail. I thing I paced it off at over 30 feet wide. I have never seen so much papaya free for the picking as I did in that area.

If it happens under load but goes away if you engage the clutch it is a U joint going bad. A front one feels like a tranny problem. These kind of problems are a be-atch to figure out sometimes.

These came off her Civic and have less than 1000 miles on them. The profile is too tall for the Mini or they would be going on some steelies and back to use. I would be open to a trade for some studded 195/55/16 snow tires.

These are basically brand new studded tires. Ran for 2 months last winter on snow. Set of 4, unmounted. $300 obo. You know you are going to rally that 510 this winter.:eek:

Do yourself a favor and mount it on the "cool" side of the motor. Not hard to do. There is a write up on it over on 311s.org in the wiki section if I remember correctly.

Take a look on ebay motors right now. Search "datsun 1200" and see what pops up on page 2. Should be easy to set right with all the NOS stuff available right at your local NAPA. This does have Ratsun written all over it though.

Would have in a second if it wasn't in the spot that it was. Too much traffic at that time in AM and the 510 was 200 yards away pointed in the opposite direction with 4 lanes in between. Honest to God, IDK how you PDX'ers deal with that 205/84 interchange everyday. Never seen so many freaks and stressers trying to change lanes and merge and talk on their cell phones at the same time. I never take jobs in the city for just that reason.

So I am busting into Ptown this morning and saw an orange 510 4 door pulled off the side over on the eastbound side right at the 205/84 interchange. Some Ratsuner had to do the walk of shame this morning. Hope you got her going or chances are some crack head is going to snag those nice wheels.:D

Twin Peaks in Hood River. Right at the end of the runway. What could be better than airplanes coming in 50 ft over the picnic table while having the best mushroom/bacon/swiss ever.
