This is what I do not understand.................we (conservatives) here on this thread, have shown you EVERYTHING, but you flat out will not consider any of it.  At least I read other posts.  Who was it that stated that they believe you come here, ONLY to aggravate, only to try to rile us (conservatives) up..............??  I never believed that, until recently.  We are dealing with a brick wall.

It's crossed my mind a few times, to ask Mike how long he's been working for the CIA. There's a conspiracy theory for you guys. Mike, a deep under cover CIA agent implanted in destruction with only one mission.... to shit on Trump 🤣🤣. Keep all 5 of us who follow this thread on our toes.

He tries like the Democrats but has failed to shit on Trump. He shits himself as often as Biden.

Never ever seen anyone worth voting for. I'm suspicious of all politicians. For the most part they have never worked a day in their lives, but have found a parasitic way to make a living off of others and are unaccountable. I expect politicians to let you down and they never disappoint. So it's no surprise Trump ticks all the boxes and many there are no boxes for.

What's a surprise is how the 'conservatives' here let this disgusting creature, right in front of them... plain to see, allow him to subvert and compromise their principals and drag them down into the shit with him. He's the anti Christ. If you had another viable candidate you would suddenly see the emperor has no clothes! Where are your standards of decency?

There is the rub. I know Trump is a naked ape and he might fuck shit up a bit, but it will be fucked up naked ape style and possible to unfuck or at least a greater possibility exists the world will stay on the current fucked path, which will certainly fuck all of us...eventually, but eventually is a long time (likely long after I am dead) and much changes in a long time.

The Democrats want to fuck the United States of America into third world status in a short time. It will be all parties and good times until the bill comes and the bill will come fast-in a short time-(likely beginning before I am dead) and we will be fucked for a long time, until it is bad enough that a great number of people are willing to sacrifice their lives for change. It will need to be very bad for a long time for that to become reality.

The cycle of civilization is clear, the writing on the wall  is simple to read and generations may find another way, but none that are alive today.

The split is between those who would see the United States drift toward Nationalism or drift toward Socialism and I, with good reason and sound historical reference, hate Socialism. I also miss the days of the pledge of allegiance  as a daily ritual and pride in America. Because I, and my fellow Americans cannot help but push things too far, I know it is letting the camel poke its nose in the tent and will end poorly, but I won't be against some Nationalism.

Truth is the first compromise in politics. I guess I expect too much of those chosen to lead us.

It is now. We're the reason for the worlds problems according to some.

It's the bane of all leaders. Those below complain to those above.

Choosing a leader would be a lot less like choosing the favorite turd in the punch bowl if accountability wasn't protected by bureaucracy. All leader candidates could be forced to be good leaders if there was a system in place to prevent moral or ethical poor judgement real time. Until that happens Im casting my vote to whoever both parties would prefer not show up to the party.

Well, if you live somewhere broadly speaking you technically are a citizen. Illegal is just semantics. If you live somewhere you should have the right to petition those in power to have a say in how you are governed. If you have the right to vote and a driver's license the government has the right to tax you.

Guess that would make you a citizen of up your ass.. All the documents you need come on a roll.

When I read this I was most concerned about the new 50 cent tax per gallon but I see other bits that should really rock the boat.

And if you are a person that thinks it won't happen here, better rethink that its on its way. The people that want this think they are going to create some type of electric car utopia but I'm thinking its going to be more like Cuba which actually fits in with the political utopia they also believe in, and don't forget Brandons attacks on Natural gas appliances tie in nicely with California's.

Quote from the article

"California is also phasing out new gas-powered cars and mandating 100% electric vehicle sales by 2035. Nearly 20 other states have since adopted those rules, meaning more than 40% of the country will be affected by the mandate to some extent."

You're an illegal alien unless you have a visa or green card. You have the right to vote.

You can't vote in a presidential election even if you're a permanent resident (Green Card) or if you have a Visa. You must become a Naturalized citizen to vote if you were born outside of the country. Or at least that's how it's been till now, and how it should be IMO. We have yet to see if the cheatin SOB's who are currently office pull off the biggest election fraud scheme ever.

Say what?!? I'm all for legal immigration and up until the border gates were left wide open by this administration. I really didn't have much to say about illegal immigration. But shit is getting out of hand now. There needs to be some kind of order for any country to survive. This reckless move the current admin made to try and illegally get more voters is going to royally fuck any chance we might of had to get out of the mess we're currently in.

The logic of these Democrats really gets me. So they ban new car sales. Cars that could and probably would be more efficient and cleaner burning than what we have now. What they're going to be forcing on us is to keep driving the older technology cars which will end up being high mileage and most likely polluting more. I won't ever be driving an electric car. They're going to make it so expensive to charge one it won't be worth it. It's like my solar panels. They push for saving the planet and clean energy. So many of us bought solar that now the power companies aren't making money off of us. Along comes the crooked PUC and Democrats and I'll be paying 24 bucks a month to SDGE because I don't use their electricity. Bullshit and I'm looking into disconnecting from the grid. Then they get nothing !

Didn't say it was legal, said broadly speaking. I think you or John said the laws were just flat out ignored. Yes! indeed it's out of hand and has been before Trump was in office.

I agree, I wouldn't like to be maneuvered either. Same thing might have been said of cars by buggy owners.

No, the government never mandated auto's to be fueled by petrol, electric had been popular in the beginning but it was the convenience and efficiency of the petrol fueled auto that consumers chose.

Batteries would have been absolute shit 120 years ago. My first car you had to pull the caps off the battery and top up with distilled water every month or two. The first 'maintenance free' battery wasn't completely, and they even needed some topping up.

I read an article yesterday that China has come out with an electric car that gets around 250 miles per charge.  A few car manufacturers have gotten their hands on a few, and completely disassembled them down to every nut and bolt.  They all quietly agree that it is a very good quality car. The Chinese sell them in various countries for around $12k.  Their lobbyists immediately started lobbying for a ban on USA sales, and I see today that Brandon has now upped the tariff on Chinese Electric vehicles to 100%.

At $12k I would consider a little "in town" EV if it was good quality and had some service backup.  At $24k, I say GTFO on that.  Thanks Brandon.  I actually need a new daily driver, and I'm going to try to make my current driver last as long as possible.  With my age and health problems, I'll probably not make 2035, but I'm damn sure not EVER going to buy an EV as my sole transport.

Just IMHO, of course.
