Covid-19 Prepared?

Recommended Posts

That's the one I saw, where he said injection inside. I couldn't believe my fucking ears. It was cringe worthy.

In the past year I have been on a borrowed cell phone maybe twice. Neither were an actual emergency and someone called me on someone else's phone. Strangely enough we used to get along without them. If you needed to tell your wife something you told her when you got home from work. It seems today that everything is an emergency or deserving of a call about it.

The first phone I remember was a wooden box on the wall with two bells on the top and a hand crank on the side, a microphone that you had to stand on a chair to get your mouth close enough to and a speaker on a wire that you held to your ear. There were 6 other homes on the same line so you had to count the rings, like two long and one short. Anyone on the 'party line' could listen in on anyone else. To calla neighbor on your line you just crank the handle two shorts and a long or what ever their signal was. To phone someone outside not on the line you cranked the handle one long and an operator would take your number and connect it. If you weren't home and someone let it ring too many times, like on a quiet Sunday, a pissed neighbor would lift the handle breaking the connection and then hang up ending the call. If someone left the receiver off the hook, no one could call out.

"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside " This is why you should have experts in their field. Let them do the talking.

Chemotherapy is toxic and kills living cells, the trick is to have enough of you left after all the cancer cells are killed when you stop. The only thing that specifically targets a virus is an antibody response. To even express the thought that you could use a 'cleansing agent' that would target just the virus is retarted in the extreme. It's dangerous because there are always people out there that think you know what you're talking about.

I am not in the know on this.

Looks like the quote you posted is about ultraviolet therapy?

So why are all the links saying something the quote doesn't say?

The president started on about ultraviolet therapy / light therapy and somehow bringing that into the body - though means of the skin. Then progressed to using disinfectants and suggested injecting them. Then rambled on to some part of either Covid19 or disinfectants does a "tremendous number on your lungs".

I gave the full quote to give better context but I'm not quiet sure what you mean by the links don't say what the quote does?

Link 1 - has the video of him making the comments, and goes to the President trying to spin the poor suggestion as sarcasm.
https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/the-white-house-spins-trumps-disinfectant-remarks/

Link 2 - shows that after he made the comments, that Lysol maker had to warn against injecting disinfectants.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/24/business/lysol-disinfectant-trump-coronavirus/index.html

Link 3- another source for the President saying that the disinfectant injection remarks were sarcasm - also has his quote about disinfectant and is there a way we can do something like that by injection:

Link 4 - apparently people in Maryland were calling and asking about injecting disinfectants - it also have the Presidents quote at the bottom of the article.

Link 5 - is to Doctors shooting down the idea - and has linked articles that go directly to the Presidents quote:

Once again we have people letting their TDS get the best of them.Edit a paragraph, make it what you want it to be.Try putting a question mark at the end of that sentence that's highlighted. Then it's a question, not a suggestion.

But it literally wasn't a question. He made a statement about it.  You can click the Link 1 above to watch what the president said and read the transcription.

I mean ... he literally did suggest it. So directly and in such a way that the manufacturer had to release a statement about stupid people to NOT do it, and that hotlines were taking questions from stupid people about it.

If you want to take more than 2 seconds to look at the links (or watch the video of him literally making the statement about it...), there is more resources than CNN - and if you have a problem with my sources then please feel free to provide some links of your own so that I can grow my knowledge on the subject.

I think it's clear that he said disinfectant. No one said Clorox. Although chlorine is a method for treating municipal water only the most ignorant would suggest using it on a virus inside the body. John... even YOU would know better than to say something so stupid and irresponsible to the public which has it's share if stupid people. See it for what it really was. A stupid thing to say by a non expert that doesn't know any better. It was cringe worthy.

He didn’t say anything about injecting chemicals.

in the context of what he said the UV light therapy is an injected disinfectant into the lungs if you know anything about the bleeding edge tech.

Trump was speaking of a procedure intended to help people recover from the most severe bacterial and viral lung infections through light injections.

but yeah I guess if you have some form of bone with the guy you would associate “disinfectant” as only meaning a caustic or poisonous chemical.

because If you read the quote he doesn’t say that.

oh and if you try to say the poison control call statistic after he made the comment.

you are an idiot. Poison control calls went through the roof in February because of the increase in cleaning supply use. The Virus Panic.

if this guy cured cancer you people would find issue with that too.

“why didn’t he do it sooner!!”

I read all those articles and watch the videos. They free associated shit that he didn’t say.

fake fucking hyperbole news bud. But we are all stupid and you aren’t.

I said no pointed political shit and no TDS allowed.

Mike I guess it’s time to lock this shit.

It's not even worth arguing with you guys since you want to literally ignore the words of the President and defend his poor statements. Again, not only did he SAY it, but he tired to go back and say it was SARCASM.  Literally ignoring facts here because you don't like them.

Wanna say that it's getting political it's not - It's talking facts.  - if I am wrong then I could learn more on it please provide links to stuff that backs up what you're saying so not only I will learn but others can too.

Edit: @Mattndew76 - I don't think you're stupid. I never said that you were. I am not attacking you, please don't attack me either.

Matt it was irresponsible to say anything that could be taken the wrong way. That should be left to the experts in the field of virology. Look up the definition of disinfectant. It says for use on inert surfaces.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disinfectant

Disinfectants are generally distinguished from other antimicrobial agents such as antibiotics, which destroy microorganisms within the body, and antiseptics, which destroy microorganisms on living tissue.

Mike,is there a no politics rule here that only applies when you want it to ? Or is it a rule for everybody no matter what their opinion is ?

Why is it political to criticize what the president said and not discuss it?

I don't think anyone here is saying "Goddamn Trump and the Republicans", or "Stupid libtards only want X", or attacking anyone - but pointing out that he shouldn't have said that.

Edit: if you don't want to discuss it, then I guess we leave it and go back to memes.

So bringing up the President and criticizing what you believe he said isn't political ? No wonder you think he suggested injecting disinfectants.

Apparently it's a slippery slope. There should be nothing political about what to do about covid19 but like a car owner ignoring his mechanic and meddling in the repair, telling him what is wrong and how to fix it is counter productive, dangerous and stupid. I would not drive in the same car with this owner or be on the same road. Sensible people know their limitations and get a mechanic to fix things they can't.

Uhhh... he did. He said the best way to fix toe-in is to take one of the front tires off.

If it was Dr Fauci that I was criticizing - would it be political? You're literally wanting to make it political dude. Chill out.

If he didn't suggest it then why would he then try to clarify that it was sarcasm?

Dude, It's not that at all.

The President simply shouldn't have suggested injection yourself with disinfectants. We can't talk about this without it going sideways?

He didn’t. That’s the issue. But hey see it however you want. He didn’t tell anyone to do shit.

Again - with the attacking comments. Yeah dude you should chill out. You're telling me to take meds and drink bleach. Is it really so difficult for your views to be shattered by facts so much that you can't stay on topic?

If I was criticizing literally ANYONE else would you consider it political? Because I said that the Vice President made a bigger mistake than the President comments by visiting the Mayo clinic without a mask - and you're ignoring that too. But again, if I was to criticize Fauci would it be political?

Do you want to address the fact that the president said that his comments were sarcasm or do you wanna tell me to drink bleach and take my meds again?

Again - if you guys have links that can show otherwise please share.
