Stars Mark Hammil and Annie Potts, great movie, and has at least 3 521's and 2 or 3 620's in it. Don't remember seeing any 510's or Z-cars. Just watched this one Netflix. DRIVEN Posted January 26, 2012 Report Share Posted January 26, 2012 Just saw an rerun of Cops in Portland. Dish Network lists it as episode 25. I think it's actually Season 2, episode 12 (1989?). I looked around for a link or a clip and came up empty handed. Guy calls the cops because he caught some heshers trying to steal his red 280z. He beats the shit out of one and locks him in the car and waits for them to show up. The other one ran away only to return to taunt the officers. Whispy mustaches, Ozzy t-shirts, palm tree mullets, green teeth all in full effect. The best part? License plate on the Z "BLADE". Full bad-ass status. Quote Link to comment

The guy had blood all over this shirt and the other guy BLAM pops him again and won't let him out of the Datsun until the cops arrive. Plus the mullet is cool really shows the Portland style. She goes to jail - car gets impounded. Side note: The segment right after that where the cop has to tell the guy his wife died in a car accident is about 6 miles from my house. This was a Chevette vs '83ish Celica in the late '80s before the mandatory seat belt laws. I'm always between jobs. I'm a mechanic that primarily works from my home shop along with being a hired gun for a couple local small shops. I work for them when they get really busy or when guys take vacations or get injured/sick. I really like the flexible schedule and the fact that I really have no boss -- cash subcontractor. The freedom has rendered me essentially unemployable :D . This time of the year is typically slow since the average American can't seem to financially plan past Christmas. I usually have alot of time for TV between mid-December and March when people start getting tax refunds. Quote Link to comment
