I will stick to my opinion that telling someone to search is not the friendliest way to help someone. It's like saying "I don't have time right now. Go ask your mother." I like to help and I will take the time to google something for someone and then provide the info and/or link. Hell, I don't even own a Datsun anymore and I visit Ratsun every day, just to see if I can wiegh in positively on someone's discussion. I will admit that I am getting rather tired of explaining the engine combos to people, but if I have time, I will try to help. I, personally, am put off whenever some tells me to search. Maybe I have searched and the specific information I thought I was looking for was not obviously available to me. That would be why I took the time to ask. I was on a Cummins forum recently and I started a new thread by saying something like "I have this black box attached to my intake and I want to know what it is." Someone jumped all over me for not searching. What the F%^$** was I supposed to search for? "Little black box"? I let that douchebag have it. Not trying to beat a dead horse, but you guys keep asking what's wrong with telling someone to search, so there's my $.02. 4 Link to comment
