Bory
So here I'm plumbing the exhaust, I'm using Spin Techs 2-1/2" Oval piping, hard to tell from this shot but I have much more clearance then when I was running 2" round. 4 Quote Link to comment
Bory
Here is where the oval X pipe will sit 1 Quote Link to comment
Bory
From this angle I'm gonna have a 4/5 deg. Vertical oval transition, that will also offset up 3-5/8" up over the X member. It will Trans to round 2-1/2". The nike box is going to be the template for the custom chambered muffs, the out let will go under the axle. 2 Quote Link to comment

mklotz70
Only a couple of months behind schedule! Geez! What a battle to get to this point.......and by battle, I mean learning curve! I need to tap the holes for the thread inserts. I think I've got the CAM work done for the rotor adapter. That part will take at least 1-1/2 hours just in machining time on the mill.....that's not counting the hour or two it will spend on the lathe. LOL!!! .....hhmmm......not really that funny from my side!! :) 3 Quote Link to comment

The Engine Room
Why would it take so long to machine? 2 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Why would it take so long to machine? Looks like a good amount of stock removal, and its not the biggest, highest horse power machine, but it sure gets the job done! 3 Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
Why would it take so long to machine? q-tip summed it up nicely. :) Plus, I'm being conservative on the tool paths. I'd rather it take a bit longer......I'm really tired of breaking tools and starting over. Here's the rotor adapter.... 3 Quote Link to comment
Bory
Wow! BH's! That is incredible! I can't wait to bolt that stealth set up on up!! I started a count down like a kid would waiting for Santa! That red suit bandit is a no show so far. But I'm waiting nicely 3 Quote Link to comment

Bory
Thanks guys! Ya it's real close to operational travel height. About 2.5" of travel before bottom on the rear housing I even have 1/2" to space the rears out. 1 Quote Link to comment
