RatVonDude
I'm guessing Alpha Romeo, that nissan looks like an old race engine, Quote Link to comment
smoke
I think the car is an old skyline, maybe even a wagon. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
A chopped nose one? A "short nose" C10, yes. My dream car is a short nose 4dr C10... Well, one of my dream cars... Quote Link to comment
smoke
That's a rare machine. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
That's a rare machine. Easier to get than you might think. Just not very popular amongst the enthusiast crowd. I see a goodly number run through the Japanese auctions anyway... Don't think anyone has one stateside though. Hard for most to resist the siren song of the L6... Quote Link to comment
smoke
Guess I just have not seen very many. Quote Link to comment
smoke
I gotta say, I really don't get why guys are bothering with this setup. 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
It reduces turbo lag and back pressure... Quote Link to comment
smoke
Great, now I need to sweep up my brain. I guess I am just looking at this from a dollar and effort standpoint. I am sure that car really hauls ass and the dude clearly has some bread to spend on things. I run a blower on my drag truck, so I can't really pick him apart too much. I know that if I changed that to a turbo, I would be faster (a lot) but as it is...that little short wheelbase fucker makes you have to pull the seat out of your ass after an 8 second pass. I just don't want that particular vehicle to be any faster. Now, that car on the other hand, that thing could handle a low 7 or high 6. Quote Link to comment
smoke
It probably does a mid or low 7. But....the amount of money spent to do that was mind numbing is my point. Quote Link to comment
smoke
Found it, Here it is. 1 Quote Link to comment
housew
mmmmmmm nova im building me a 62 gasser nova, more to cruise and cause i like lifted sedans with big blocks than to actually go fast, it will make pretty noises but it won't be any where close to as fast as that thing. smoke
Over the years I have learned some things about myself...There IS such a thing as too fast and that is the point where I stop finding it fun and begin to get too serious. I find this even in the handling of a car, I can set up a car to really grip like crazy in a turn and you have to push it SO hard to make the rear kick out a little. That's cool, but not for me either, I like to be able to goose a car a little, throw the back end out at kind of a slower speed, it's just more fun. I have found my limits to what I enjoy, went way past them and then came back. With 750 cubic inches, I think he should be at least knocking on this guys door...but he ain't. 1 Quote Link to comment

Very good point, I'm in the seek for better&faster at the moment although it's going to take a while to achieve it I'll get there lol. I've been trying to push the limit of my car more than mines at the moment but I've been doing my best to do it safely. It was cool you posted that video I've never seen it from those kind of angles, after seeing it tho I think a ride in something that fast would be good enough for me just once. Seeing the front wheels bounce around and not really have good contact with the ground until he let off is kind of a WOAH for me. Quote Link to comment
