datsunfreak
Daaaaaahmn! 12 second quarter mile at 37mph! Not even sure how a quantum physicist would pull that off. It's actually very easy. You just stand on the brakes right before you hit the end of the track. Quote Link to comment
smoke
I'm pretty sure I have crossed over the line around 40mph at a 10 flat. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I'm pretty sure I have crossed over the line around 40mph at a 10 flat. Common trick to avoid breaking out and having to add more safety equipment... Quote Link to comment
smoke
It's safety equipment with me, but I got nailed anyway. Quote Link to comment

smoke
I was very tempted to do a Ford, turbo 300 6 in my old 71 truck when I swapped to the 428, but I just stuck with the FE style. I kinda regret it, just on a neatness factor. Quote Link to comment

I've seen a guy run out at bremerton with a 300 in a rail that was running something like 9's, and reved over 8k, been trying to get my girlfriends dad to put one in his comet, no go yet though Quote Link to comment

I know in Chevys the truck 6 is a lot bigger than the car 6. Thought it was the same way in Fords... Quote Link to comment
smoke
With Fords, I think the 250 was just a stroked 200 and the 300 was just a stroked 240, so same size. Quote Link to comment
