This is like breast implants, nice to look at, but ultimately fake, useless, and expensive. Too bad the guy couldn't find a chrome fan belt, then it'd hecka fresh.

I am a lover of chrome, but that is too much. Downright gaudy.

These are not words in the average Lowrider enthusiast's lexicon...

Overall, I like Lowriders. NOW these ugly and retarded "Donk" cars need to go away!

And this MF'R needs to be beaten with a filthy gym sock with a bar of soap inside!

Its the angle, it wouldnt look so gaudy I bet from the top, The light blue accentuates the chrome in a way that makes it look like too much, it probably looks fine in a normal view.

I mean I dont see anything out of the ordinary here. Brake booster, valve covers, alternator, carb, air cleaner, all pretty much SOP for chroming in an engine bay.

I have a friend who used to be into Donks, its not a new thing, this was like 10-15 years ago when he lived in Detroit, its HUGE back there.

Those guys are not screwing around, as dumb as it is, most of them have over $100,000 into their rides.

I just want me like an 79' Monte, Training Day style.

I don't think chroming the inner fenders (basically the entire engine bay) should be SOP, and I've actually never seen a chrome brake master cylinder. First time.

I hate it, but it wasn't built for me, so...

I didnt notice that, but I have seen both done before. It does look a bit gaudy at that point. Chrome BMC is pretty normal.

potato potahto? Honestly Cap, I don't think the freak was having trouble pronouncing the word "normal". it's something to the effect of "Chroming your BMC might be common, but it sure as hell ante normal". Chroming your engine bay on the other hand, now that's just a performance upgrade there.
