We (wife and I) recently saw a geneticest for an upcoming child and this very subject came up.

She (Doctor \ geneticest) said studies suggest that gluten allergies are non-congenital.

I can get more info from her if needed.

That's interesting, I wonder if they are learning more about it now that so many people seem to be affected.

Like i said before, hell no it's not genetic.....it's the geniuses messing around with food genetics to get higher yields per acre of production.

People have been doing that since they started farming.

As Mike stated before everybody has it, it just depends if you are adversely effected.

That's what I would tell my sheep so they don't think I'm using them for genetical experiments

It's actually fact that human beings have been genetically modifying every thing they have domesticated and farmed since they have been farming and raising livestock.

There's a huge difference between genetic modification for improving a species by thinning out the naturally occurring bad genes and literally modifying genes on a microscopic level to form genetic resistance to chemicals being sprayed over the crops.

There is an increase in everything because of everything.

I agree. But this motivates me. There is so much to learn and know. This world and science has grown beyond our ability to predict/comprehend. The MAJORITY of prescription drugs are the result of unexpected observed side effects from unrelated clinical trials. "Holy shit! This arrithmia pill doesn't work, but gives the trial subjects erections. Eureka!!! Call it Viagra, we're rich!" This is a very stark example of how haphazard industry can be in their pursuit of $uccess. Yet the mob shuns the cautious foil hat wearers for their "non-science" views. When science is founded is skepticism and hypothysis. "Studies" are not the result of science. They are the result of funding. Funding comes from industry. These links are basic, yet too disturbing for most to process/accept.

Selective breeding is "natural selection" selecting a result of nature. (Humans are nature, blah blah blah shut up). Taking protein strains from completely foreign RNA, or worse DNA, including it, then letting it grow is something that is far too consequential to allow industry to self regulate. It's plain irresponsible. We know, flat out, that industry is only interested in growth. Great risk is taken to achieve great results. Only the naive would expect moral imperative to overpower drive toward success. Business is business. Humanity is human. The kind of decisions that need to be made when toying with our food supply or genetic code should never be in the hands of industry. I am not opposed to GMO science. But I am 100% against the shit that's happening right now. So is the majority of the world. Considering over 70% of USA citizens are taking meds I think we need to re-evaluate. As well, things such as GMO science should not be left to industry to regulate. As well, food safety issues should be isolated from industry influence. If you think roundup is no big deal, look at correlation. Fuck causation. Easy to deny. But mass correlation, across the board must not be ignored. Consider what you eat. Consider where it comes from. Consider how the carrot you ate, selectively bred from earlier relatives of Queen Ann's Lace is the same as corn that was spliced with genes to make it immune to glyphosphate which it was subsequently doused to all hell with. This is how gene splicing science is used to make money at the mercy of consumers. This is where people would rather believe an ambiguous amalgamation of change is the cause of our ailments. This is what industry counts on. This is where I put on my foil hat.

It's less a matter of what is being done. More a matter of what one should expect as a result. Do not pave avenues to greed.
