KoHeartsGPA
Hey, even my F250 pos work rig has nearly 140k without needing head work :P Diesel? 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
I guess I'm just too used to all the Hondas in my family doing 250k+. My DD is over 260k and doesn't even use any oil. OG autotragic, too. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Diesel? I wish. 7.5L (460) gasoline. It's kind of a dog. It has had some other expensive work, though... 2 Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
Ya those engines are really tough, best Ford put out imo, I have friends that have those f250, couple diesels. 1 Quote Link to comment

thisismatt
I know. Just saying it's pretty sad that a subie needs head gaskets at anywhere close to 140k when even a Ford can get there without issue. Plenty coworkers with Ford and Chevy pushing 200k+. Sad subie, sad. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Shit. 06-2010 VQ35DE Nissan/Infiniti motors were going through head gaskets at 20k miles. It is what it is. 1 Quote Link to comment

uberkevin
Isn't the thread about a 521 that's getting the most drawn out KA swap ever? Isn't this my thread where I can post anything? And most drawn out?? I mean it has taken a little while longer then I would have liked but the good thing is that it's just about there. Working on exhaust today a little and my fan, lugnuts and battery hold down will all be here tomorrow.. Also I've been getting really good hours at work. 2 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Do not worry about how long it takes as long as it works when done! LOL I have seen shit thrown together and sure it left the driveway but it took longer to repair all the problems than it would have taken to do it right the first time. 3 Quote Link to comment
