JCCS 2012

The show was great! What sucked was the damn weather. I was just not prepared for the heat and humidity. I was totally dressed wrong and suffered for it. We're desert folk, so we're used to dry heat, lol.

I had my little boy with me and we decided to cut it short after two hours. We flew out from El Paso, TX and we plan to have our 1200 ready to drive out for next year's show and make it a yearly tradition!

Hey gus nice car iam the guy with the tan 510

Was that your tan 510? The next to the badass green one facing the bay??? If so that is one fine ass 510.

You guys from SD had some really nice 510's as always.

Here's some pics I got of the show:

It was great to finally make it out and meet some people. Though with the weather, I should have stayed in the NM desert, it was cooler! (75* vs 100* at the show) But despite the sunburn it was a great event!

We were in the 4door section

I Remember your car. It's not the one I was thinking about. But yours is one fine 4 door. The one I thought was really cool was the 2 door. It has the red spoiler up front. Kinda looks like a brownish grey color??? Who owns that car?? I know he was part of the SD crew.

I had an amazing JCCS weekend. Had the privilege of traveling with some awesome ratsuners including Dirttrack510 from St. Louis and PurePontiacKid from Vegas. Also met some great guys in Barstow that graciously opened their garage to total strangers for a great evening of wrenching to keep us on the road.

The Mark II made it down to So Cal and to the show on Saturday. A little wrenching and diagnostics in BRE510's garage and we hit the road home on Sunday. Due to carb and fuel problems, we were on the side of the road one too many times. Me, my friend Dan and my 11 year old son Miles finally gave up just outside of Vegas yesterday and U-Hauled the car home. Tired of waiting, we drove all night and arrived home at 5am this morning. This trip got a little expensive but the the memories will last a lifetime. I'm going to compile the details and photos and post them in my thread (and Datsun Stories?) but in the meantime, I'm going to go take a nap :)
