Not sure what the code was but it was a factory color for 1972. It has a fine metallic in it that really pops in the sun. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 Any 'color' as long as it is dark almost black. Red would be burgundy. Blue.... aubergine. Green.... emerald. Silver/gray is also a good choice and the only light shade that isn't a color. Silver goes with anything. Yellow, orange, light blue or green look better with black hood, air dam, stripes or accents. They should have a very light pearl iridescent 'depth' to it but subtle, not metallic. Metallic is too close to the old '50s metal flake. Gawd help us, glad that's gone. Hey there is no wrong colors so when you ask 'what color is best on a 510' you are really saying 'what color would you have on your 510'. Quote Link to comment
