No progress on the car but the shop has 220 volts now... and it even works!  I can weld... well, on the days when I can weld, and we can air up tires and stuff now.  The place is becoming more and more livable.

Bite your tongue! It's a 1960 Austin 7, aka Mini. One of the first ones ever imported.  B)

It needs a lot of love AFTER the B210 is finished...

It's begging to be done Mr. Bean style, with a big paddlock on the door!

Had to push it out to move in a work bench so I snapped a few pics...

Engine in, but maybe not for the last time...   <_<

New filter on, and Tim made a nice bracket to hold it in place so it doesn't shake around too much...

Looks neato, like that carb hat & filter arrangement

That Mini is one of my all time fav cars. Some day I'll get lucky. That B 210 is starting to get interesting. With that motor come responsabilities. Can't drive it w/o good suspension. For sure already in the works.

KYBs all around, AFCO circle track adjustable coil-overs out front, helper springs on the rear leafs... leaves?  Anyhoo, yeah, we got the suspension pretty well worked out on this car before mad power was attempted.  Oh, and the brakes are RIDONKULOUS!  Go back over the whole thread to see what we've done along those lines.  I'm particularly proud of them.
