dimlight65
No progress on the car but the shop has 220 volts now... and it even works! I can weld... well, on the days when I can weld, and we can air up tires and stuff now. The place is becoming more and more livable. 3 Quote Link to comment
Kirden
THE POWA! Congratulations on the upgrade. Is it sad that I'd rather use my 220 dryer hookup for my compressor so I drive my clothes to my grandma's to wash them? Quote Link to comment
dimlight65
Ok folks, we may be in trouble. The brakes for the Mini just arrived. I have got to fight the urge to stop working on this car to start on the other. All help will be appreciated. Quote Link to comment

Kirden
That's a difficult choice... Love those vintage minis. Now if it is a newer mini burn it with fire and return to Datsun bliss. Quote Link to comment

One of the first ones ever imported. B) It needs a lot of love AFTER the B210 is finished... 5 Quote Link to comment

Engine in, but maybe not for the last time... <_< New filter on, and Tim made a nice bracket to hold it in place so it doesn't shake around too much... 1 Quote Link to comment

Can't drive it w/o good suspension. For sure already in the works. Quote Link to comment
dimlight65
Can't drive it w/o good suspension. For sure already in the works. KYBs all around, AFCO circle track adjustable coil-overs out front, helper springs on the rear leafs... leaves? Anyhoo, yeah, we got the suspension pretty well worked out on this car before mad power was attempted. Oh, and the brakes are RIDONKULOUS! Go back over the whole thread to see what we've done along those lines. I'm particularly proud of them. 1 Quote Link to comment

ericsb210
What would be the brand and model of the flares used on the rear of the B210? Oh ya, mad skills! Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
What would be the brand and model of the flares used on the rear of the B210? They are just standard 240ZG flares, purchased from Motorsport Auto. Fits like a glove. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic02c/50-1562 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Will probably end up putting the fronts on at some point. Waiting to see if we need wider tires up front. And we probably will. Quote Link to comment
