ProjectFeint
Removing majority of the sound deadening, floors look good but underneath is what counts. Also taking apart the center console for some needed cleaning. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Glad to see someone using the dry ice method. It surprises me how many build threads Ive seen where people do it the hard way. Those floors look good. Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
It really makes it go by much cleaner, and the floors are pristine with a tiny bit of surface rust  Quote Link to comment

Its thicker than oem and the quality of the plastic is a little rough, not as nice as nice as i thought but once in the car its not noticeable Quote Link to comment

Cam, peanut head, l18 pistons, matchbox dizzy, full top to bottom rebuild The ka will be a no expenses spared build and will go in once the suspension/drivetrain/body can handle the power... that's the plan anyways :) Quote Link to comment

Wanna do the same for my 510. Just sanded with varying degrees of sandpaper, cleaned the surface, cleaned the surface, cleaned the surface, primer, scuff, paint, clear... And I just used rattle can duplicolor wheel paint and clear... So far its been holding up very well Quote Link to comment

ProjectFeint
Going to do a little hood pin diy today and post oics as I go, Total cost: Under $20 Here's the pins I went with Replacing the self tapping screws with slightly smaller bolts with washers, bump stops, and a few washers for the threaded rod Quote Link to comment
Abe Froman
All I can say is I would NOT do that to a clean hood, for a set of $20.00 hood pin's ! Just my 2 centts....... Quote Link to comment
john510
Yes what he says ^^^^^ dont do it ! Quote Link to comment
ProjectFeint
Too late already drilled holes  If it came down to it i don't see the problem in welding the holes back up... Anywho drilled the hood bump stop holes out with a 1/2 drill bit Shortened the bump stop till it fit the hood nice and snug, oh and the threaded rod is nice and tight as well with the lock washers underneath the rad support Quote Link to comment

ProjectFeint
Sorry hood... lol not really Used petroleum jelly to mark where the hood meets pin and carefully drilled out a hole to suit Drilled holes with the scratch plate on to avoid misalignment... thinking about painting them a less glossy chrome color later but for now its fine Quote Link to comment
