75Datsun610
Its a 1975 Datsun 610 that was completely restored! Car is awesome. Was going to be sent to Nissan of North America's Museum, but it has a little detour (still even has the plaque on the car stating "Property of Nissan North America). Let me know what you guys think. kiznook
OH NO!! they're taking over! that is a beautiful piece of nissan history. I'd hate to see it get ruined on the highway Quote Link to comment
fisch
I think I have read about this car before. You put ALOT LOT LOT of work into it. And though I'd be the first to lower it and put some new wheels on a 610, it'd be a crime to do that to this beautiful piece of history. A big welcome to you. Lovin all these 610's! ]2eDeYe
Nice 610, you guys keep this up and we'll need a 610 forum :D Quote Link to comment
Pumpkn210
Dude That is WAY SWEET! Bet its a kick in the pants to drive. And dont listen to Kiznook. Cars were built to be driven:D Do you know the curb weight? Quote Link to comment
75Datsun610
The car now has a few extras like the OEM spec three panel light conversion professionally done, with blue face gauges, OEM front and rear bumper conversion to earlier style(much cleaner), earlier style pre-73 front fenders, and 1976 JDM Work Equip Wheels, very clean and shiny. No Rash. Heres a couple more pics. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
How many cars can you crush with that monster turck? :D Seriously. Time to drop it. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Do you know the curb weight? FWIW, my '74 was listed at 2300. But with the early bumpers, it might be 2250-ish. The interior on these is WAY more luxurious than a 510, and it comes with much cooler (and heavier) stuff inside. Quote Link to comment
Pumpkn210
Just wonering. My 210 is under 2000 now that it has 5 mags. The stock steelies are heavier than I thought they would be. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Really? The 210 is actually rated at the same weight. But I'll say this, the 210 has an engine/trans about 100 pounds lighter than the 610. :D Quote Link to comment
Pumpkn210
Yes Really! When I first got the Pumpkn I took it to the scale at my old work, and it was at 2020lbs with the stock steelies. The sloted mags, with lug nuts, center caps and tires were way heavier than the bare steelies. Quote Link to comment

Well...Uh...Thank You. I will post some more recent pics as time allows. The 4door is a rare deal, and I'm going for a daily driver/retro restoration type of thing. The car has been in my life for 27 years, and I just turned 30, so it's near and dear to my heart.:o Quote Link to comment
