80datson
hey man can you make me some mounts? Platez or brackets Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Pretty much a bolt n play I reuse my stock springs n shocks.. All the links are same length so it all worked for me . Make sure to get the yoke for the dff side Thanks. And good call on the yoke. I had planned to probably use a 510 prop shaft so I can replace the u-joints, etc. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
alright you guys. i came here for help. the forum and i just get shit... so say what you guys want. Not "shit" per se. More like "making sure you know going in that it will be twice as hard and three times as expensive as you think" sort of thing. ;) But good luck! Hope it goes well. My first two or three swaps certainly didn't... Quote Link to comment
king bee66
i bet a stock rearend would be ok for regular driving, but the temptation to push it would probably be too overwhelming. there is a guy on here running a stock with a ca18, he says hes never had any issues Quote Link to comment
80datson
Im sure it will hold up to normal driving but then again why are you swapping in a ka if its just for nromal driving? Might aswell keep it stock ;) Quote Link to comment
king bee66
i completely agree with you. what did you do for a brake upgrade btw? 1 Quote Link to comment
80datson
Besides having rear disk brakes I'm going with the 280zx front brake setups Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If you keep reasonably small tires they will act like a fuse and spin. The larger tires will provide more grip and the torque load will go up. Sudden shock loads like dumping the clutch will also stress them. Quote Link to comment
ka-datsun
Yes I can macheine you some plates.. not going to be free though. how much? Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Got another video. The car was warmed up so I got a little curious  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xqy1BhbvA20&feature=youtube_gdata_player alright you guys. i came here for help. the forum and i just get shit. my rear end will hold so i dont need to change that. i need a driveline made and mounts made thats all. the wiring is done. so you guys say im gonna want to back out? you will see i guess.. doing a 2j s13 swap soon also.. so say what you guys want. and its alot cheaper then i thought it was going to be actually. so many people tell me stupid shit and their mostly wrong. so honestly if you dont know for sure about anything then you really should post shit on here thinkin you're right... I'd say you're doing alright. The (pretty much drop in) H-165 swap is genius. Larger diff, sway bar, disc brakes just for measuring and thinking about it. Some will say big deal that's easy. It's always easy when someone else shows you how. Man this thing is going to travel back in time..... get er done. Quote Link to comment
