spitznoz
this is like datsun 510 boot camp/academy, anybody who wants to know more about these cars should sign up for a semester on graduation day you get a some sort of diploma/certificate Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Been putting parts on Hard decisions were made today, while installing taillights we found only shitty taillight rubber. Once a car has reached this stage of a job it is hard to install crap. So I dug out a box of NOS rubber, and found some new ones, from my personal parts stash. The rear window rubber was another headache. Newer used and great for other of our 510s, not so good for this one. Back to the box. New rear rubber installed. Quote Link to comment

lovedatsun
Attached the doors and truck lid today. Put the fenders on temperately, Tiki will finish putting this bad bomb together. Should of been done awhile before, but need to weld in a floor patch and seal it. Nice work. Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
The goal for day 2 was the pass side finished and we went beyond that Got the quarter window in, on to the door Had to install all the door hardware and glass, I forget how time consuming it is Yes NOS felt, Tom got the front window ready and wrapped in rubber, then we stuffed that in there, thanks Tom Skib took care of some pinch moldings. Then washed the dirt and crap outta the engine bay, looks like the rest of the car now, thanks Skib And this sexy Datsun lady took pics, thanks Babe Almost forgot custom hardware bin so we don't have to look through buckets of bolts Also installed the key lock to the trunk and replaced the rear rubber fuel lines Tomorrow (today) Drivers side and interior Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Exterior is almost finished, just a few things to tidy up. Victory had cut some rear deck filler panels awhile back, so we slapped one in after a fresh coat of paint. In order to save some time on the treasure hunt for parts, we used few parts from Granny panties. Seats being the big item. The driver seat has a few small rips but the passenger seat is very clean. For those of you who don't know, this hose keeps the water out of your driver floor. And this tape helps prevent chewing up your new paint when installing handles. The boys mounting the hood are always hard, come talkin your Honda trash and we'll help push your broken down pile o'shit car Quote Link to comment

rd300
where should these wires be plugged into? connected to clutch Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
I think that is the switch that makes it so you cant start in without the clutch depressed. Being unhooked might mean that it can be started anytime then. Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
^^..Yup. Do you have bumpers.?? Quote Link to comment
